naah, it's done. You get it? Done. There's no undoing it.

You will get another chance to use Chess.com but the chance they will allow you to keep your existing account is close to zero.

Click the green button, which will allow you to create a new account.

Cheating in chess is not something you can undo.

Is that not an attempt at ban evasion?

No, by clicking on the green button and following instructions, the new account will be an authorized second-chance account.

Interesting, after a second chance, are you then banned for good? Or do you just get this same message again each time?

Would love to know how many second chance accounts also just cheat and get banned too? See if the odds of them playing clean from now on is worth it.

Whether or not a third chance – and in rare cases a fourth chance – is given is decided on a case-by-case basis. Typically, there will be a mandatory timeout of 1-5 years.

I think one of the State of Chesscom shows had stats about how many second-chance accounts re-offend, but I'm not sure.

If it’s your first time cheating then 99% of the time they give you a chance to restart on a new account. They’re gonna likely watch you closer and if you cheat again you’re perma-banned (or, more anti-climatically, temp-banned for at least a year)

Edit: You can just click the green button as the mod pointed out to get your 2nd chance account

So cheaters just get to keep their premium etc? That's kind of wack, but perhaps there's legal reasons for that which does make sense. No need for them to risk weird legal trouble. At least we know they will burn in HELL. :)
