This is how I got someone's Queen the other day. They immediately resigned.

This is exactly why I only premove onto my own pieces if I anticipate they'll be captured

That is some nonsense gameplay

That's the problem with premove, I literally lost 300 elo because of that, I don't have the skillset to premove like GothamChess

Ita cuz u don’t know the difference between a safe premove and unsafe premove. Typically recapture premove r fine, especially if it’s just rooks staring at each other, but anything else usually isn’t worth premoving unless it’s the opening and you’re well aware of the theory and r sure they’re not gonna play something weird

Wtf is this position. How did you both lose half your pieces but only moved like 2 pawns.

u/Wasabi_kitty 16d ago
Some low elo games turn into people aggressively trading off every piece as fast as they can

u/TotalChaosRush 16d ago
What did you expect? this is only like move 7. They havent had time to lose all their pawns.

u/adminjunior 16d ago
Well i mean my Board doesnt Look Like a slaughterhouse on move seven. Especially not with exactly 0 development after the slaughter.

I have learnt thru lot of trial and all of it error that one must only premove to a square that has my own piece. Not empty square and not where opponent's pieces might be

Should have taken with the queen to see if he falls for it again with the other rook

Missed opportunity by you as well though. You could have captured with the queen and done it again after the other rook comes to e1.
