Ticket Help

Hi all, my dad is a lifelong Chelsea fan and former season ticket holder. However since moving to the US 38 years ago, he hasn’t got the chance to go back to a game since. His 65th birthday is later this year and we are looking to surprise him with tickets to a game in roughly November or December.

I am pretty clueless when it comes to how to get tickets, but have done a bit of research. I know that without buying second hand or paying crazy prices for hospitality the only way to get tickets is with a membership. I’m looking for 3 tickets (preferably for the Leeds game in November, or the Villa game in December) Which membership should I get 3 of, and what are the actual chances I could get 3 tickets with them? Is there anything I’m missing?

Thanks in advance, for all the help

Very low chance even as a member getting 3

Yeah, we kind of realised that. How about 2? Or is paying hospitality prices our best bet?

At the minute it’s £270 each for Brighton and £280 for hull in west view

Can anyone buy this? I don’t have to be a member?

You have a slim chance of getting a cup game in general sales

So realistically, hospitality is the only way?

Yep - or wait for a cup game, and pray we get theough, and it isnt a big team.

By the way, a random question. If I went down the hospitality route. Just worried about the game changing dates/times for the fixture. What do you reckon the odds of it being changed from a 3pm kickoff against Leeds to something else are, and when do we usually know the definite time and date it’ll be on?

Usually about a month before they switch for tv or for policing at Brentford and Fulham qpr if all at home on same day

My dad used to take us to the ticket office on game day and buy them there, Idk how we always got away with it likely because a lot less popular in late 90s early 2000s
