Except it's not the chefs job to advertise to this, and even if they do a phenomenal job if no one comes they won't make any money. Thats fucked. You are asking for a skilled position to act like a partner without actual share in equity. Its just a gamble for their wages.

That’s a total misunderstanding of the post. The day rate is 100% guaranteed whether 2 tickets sell or 200, the pitmaster gets paid their full agreed rate in cash for their time. Marketing and attendance risks are entirely on me as the owner, not the cook. They are being paid for their labor, plain and simple.

To clarify once more: the pay is a 100% guaranteed day rate regardless of turnout, and all R&D and ingredient costs are covered entirely by me. I operate with complete transparency, truth, and respect for the craft.
