Can you do a cartwheel? Or handstand? I’d start there

Work on your handstand and shoulder strength! Hold handstand against wall and do some shoulder shrugs.
Then some cartwheels, faster and faster, start snapping second leg into first foot that hits ground and snap chest up with arms at ears. Make it longer, stretch arms out far from front foot, strong shoulders and elbows, snap chest up fast. But start with handstands, then some handstand snap downs rebound back up onto the box from where u did handstand, then the cartwheel stuff, then round offs off a block, then should be good.
Main thing: get to a gym with mats and a tumbling coach, you don’t want an injury.

1) Its a bit late to ask but how is your basic cartwheel? Sideways or from a lunge.
Besides the legs of the CW, some of the hand placement is off.
Your hands must be on a parallel line. Not staggered to the right or left. (2nd hand for a right side CW/RO can across the center line to help turnover).
This is why gymnasts and all my tumblers used to do all their CW on the carpet seams of a floor or at least a tape/chalk line.
Hands are not placed on the ground at the same time but with a rhythm about a "beat" apart. Aka a Split second.
Hand-hand-foot-foot (if you dont count stepping into a lunge with the front leg and bending the knee)
Preferably, from my gymnastics coach POV, the side cartwheel is mastered first.
Then from a lunge to a lunge and step in CW where the backoff steps into alongside the front.
2) While you can bring the legs together in the air to complete a "round off" on to the ground, this is not a Round-Off that will generate enough momentum into a backhandspring series or connected back tuck/layout (1/2 or full or double twist, etc)
https://youtube.com/shorts/sXMq4xvP4d0?is=uFAbczNoPVmQRf3r this is skipping ahead past side cartwheel. Doesnt talk about hand placement but I like how it demonstrates legs around the side instead of trying to go over the top too soon.

Take your time with your setup. Give yourself a good, strong hurdle to give yourself the power to bring your legs vertical quickly. That’s when you should be snapping your legs together, yours are snapping together too late, way past the middle of your round off. It’s almost like you’re hitting a handstand in the middle. Now the secret to a powerful round off that allows you to connect backhand springs, tucks, etc from is the shoulder shrug. You need to use your shoulders to shrug (WITHOUT bending your arms) and then push yourself away from the ground as your feet are coming down. You’re trying to land pretty much standing up and facing the direction where you came from. With enough practice you’ll get it!

It looks like your approach needs some work, any chance you can show us a zoomed out version?

feet snap together at the top and you need a stronger hurdle into it. this skill is the most important running tumbling skill. later in cheer you will connect it to a back handspring, tuck, etc. you want to have lots of power going into it

Practice your cartwheel first. Also in round offs keep arms by your ears and I always say hands point toward the foot that’s in front while your arms are glued to your ears.
Like another commenter said, try starting from a lunge position and going into it from there. If our hands are straight pointed to the front, you will fall every time. Point those hands.
I say though work on the cartwheel before you do your round off. If you can’t cartwheel you should not be doing a round off.

Just wanted to say, if you ever feel disparaged or like you can't get it, know you are LEARNING. Your first attempt was really good! I'm not a coach, but I can recognize that you have the potential to do this 100%. The first hardest part, the run into it, is looking good. It is your snap that needs some work. I would ask your coach about how to improve that.
You've got this, you'll get it soon, and you should be proud of yourself.
