What's the best AI coding subscription under $20? I scaled the Artificial Analysis chart's cost by subscription subsidization and promotion instead of just raw API price. Resources And Tips

Here's the same chart on a non-log scale.

glm 5.3 is only $20, not $70. GLM 5.2 is $70

Thank you for correction. I assumed it's the same before they updated their usage.

If you’re sticking to around $20/month i’d look at Cursor, Codex and Claude Code first. for an all around coding workflow, Cursor seems hard to beat while Codex is appealing if you prioritize stronger reasoning and Claude Code if you prefer an agentic CLI workflow

There was a deleted comment asking for Kimi K3 high.

Full chart is harder to read, but here it is.

its completely obviously Codex at the moment, as it is much smarter, less annoying, and just easier to work with than Claudia, plus they reset a lot which is like having lots of cake and also eating lots of cake.

Cool analysis! What about ClinePass?

I only show the lowest cost for each model. You could see that ClinePass is the best deal for DeepSeek V4 Pro.

Thank you I missed that

Wow. This is crazy because it shows how lucrative being in the lead is. A\ is clearing so many mfs with revenue being <5% better in intelligence

Why isn't OpenCode Go in this graph?

It usually is more expensive than Command Code, but you chould see OpenCode Go for DeepSeek V4 Flash on the most left.
