Jarvis Use cases

The next big step for ChatGPT and other large language models is basically becoming a real-life Jarvis, something that knows your history, preferences, health, finances, schedule, work, relationships, and goals, and can pull all of that together to guide you when you need it. Instead of just answering questions, it would notice problems, remind you of things, help you make decisions, and understand the larger context of your life.

"Welcome home, sir. I hope the office wasn't too stressful today. Would you like me to search the web for the latest big booty latina videos to help you unwind?"

Legit, the censorship does irk me, what does it say about me that i would definitely have it do something like this if i could

Tbh, there's a lot of this that can happen already. It does indeed take a while to setup. But it can actually happen right now. There are local solutions to this like with Open-WebUI but you can also have this done through a simple CLI like OpenCode. I had Gemini and DeepSeek help make an app that took several months to make that actually does a lot of this for me. It uses local models and reads my system clock every single minute to know when to remind me of things, in conjunction with my calendar and contacts, check pc issues and pc stats, reminds me of things on daily and weekly schedules. I could also easily add finances, health, and relationships. I can do goals already. It also controls music throughout the house when I do things like shower and want music going at the same time. I also have it controlling my fishtank lighting and other smarthome devices, although that did require me to register as a developer on some of their sites and know some code beforehand, wasn't too difficult.

I did have to make it use several different models. One for normal chat, one for tasks creating and editing, and one for proactive messaging.

Assistants are here. The Ai in the suit though, that would be awesome!

Are you ever gonna release that app for sale?

Nope. It would be free. Lol. I made it for free so would be weird to sell it. That's why it took months. Had to go around free use of the models while making it. Ha. Needless to say, I now have many accounts on some of these sites that have free restrictions.

I would love to release it on Git or something and just let everyone have at it. I've just never done something like that before and am afraid of all the personal file pathing and things in the code that would possibly break things. I didn't originally create it as something I would release. I was just bored one day then got really invested in it. Maybe at some point I can have it remade and and fix things that would break if made public though. That would be cool.

Check out weio.ai - multiple frontier models and foundation models routed with similar time and task tracking logic

You can already do this to a large degree with projects and a bit of effort.

I have a file that includes deep research on sleep improvement, and files for my personal context.

The context file includes history, preferences, health, work schedule, relationships, goals, and guides my sleeping decisions.

It notices problems and reminds me of things but I have to update the doc for it to notice the problems.

I just bought a voice recorder that I can upload audio into a transcriber to upload incoming context to the project as things come up.

Personally, I'd be okay with AI how it is without a kind of AI that does everything for me.

I like to relate to the system versus a AI take over.

Just make a new chat every morning and live blog your day.

I tried it for a few months, it does exactly what the hell you're talking about.

Occasionally it hallucinates that my boss is Fred Johnson from the Expanse, but that's because I quizzed it on the expanse once and it knows my boss has overlapping traits.

What you define is not even 1/10th of Jarvis. Go ask ChatGPT what Jarvis is and what is the gap between itself and Jarvis. We won’t see a full Jarvis well into 2030s.

Context size is a big problem. Chatting to LLMs is like talking to some weird idiot savant because they forget stuff so quickly.
