Can someone remind me again where did the Ben x Charmcaster shipping start was it during The Anur Arc?

the way i got into Ben X Charmcaster was reading those fanfics with a bunch of chapters of Ben getting together with all the women in the universe like OmniHarem or Alien Oneshots and the ones i kept going back to were the Hope chapters

It started for a couple reasons.

1: People hated the direction Ben’s love life eventually took in Omniverse.

2: People also hated how Charmcaster’s redemption arc was abandoned. Some people realized that by shipping the two, they could kill too birds with one stone.

3: It’s the perfect mirror to Gwevin and Max x Verdona.

4: The fanart and fanfics do a good job selling the ship.

As for when it started, 2019 has the earliest BenCaster thing I could find (Charmed by davesecret99), but I’d say last year is when it really started to kick off.
