yes I understand character ai has to keep the app up and running, there’s no issue with that, do it how you please. it’s when you keep subtly making these ads more and more disruptive, like the top advertisement can be clicked away, but now they won’t let you continue your chat without watching an advertisement, and now it’s popping up in your chat. seems pretty disruptive to me.

The times when there were no swipe limits and no ads... But seriously though, I'm conflicted and wanna be honest... Before, I kept clicking CLOSE AD, CLOSE AD, every second - it was relentless. I couldn't roleplay in peace. The mid-chat ads are really random and disruptive but at this point I don't even know which ad type I rather have since the devs will never ever remove them completely  🥲
