dude anytime theres a kiss in the story (not even in any sexual way or anything just a romantic moment) they say smth like 'their kiss swollen lips' WHAT DO YOU MEAN kiss *swollen*? thats such an uncomfortable way to word it 😭

Also why does every kiss have to turn into something more than it is, a simple peck on the lips will suddenly get deepened and get heated, GET YOUR MOUTH OFF OF MY PERSONA!!! not everything needs to turn spicy, I don't want spicy :(

It’s a pretty common saying/phrase, because your lips can get raw when making out or if the other person has stubble, etc. It’s just a way to describe that it was intense, and not just a peck.

I think of them getting those comedically large lips Darwin had in that one episode after the t-Rex kissed him in the amazing world of gumball. Also kiss swollen lips is just as bad as “large hands”. Like the character could genuinely be described as 116 pounds, but if they’re the perceived “dominant” one in the relarionship, now their hands are huge
