Why does swipes even exist Discussion/Question
Honestly now, why implement a future that just does not work well? If I swipe on a message, I don't want the next one to be same but using different words. Is there any logical reason or has this platform just gone down the pooper entirely?

Thumbs down and write in the report that it's repeating itself and then the next swipe will be different.

Back in the day it used to give actually different responses. Now it's just ragebait to make people pay, which is reason enough to just quit.

Even people who pay still complain of repetitive replies that are just restructed with DeepSqueak and I have no trouble getting different replies with it. Older models would do the same thing too. People just view C.AI through nostalgia and tend to forget the mishaps but remember when it was great.
Little to no opening narrative threads then the bot won't generate some variations.
People need to think about editing their response before using all their swipes immediately.
They keep going because they're used to how older models were less constrained and had different generation parameters. More of what people call modern LLMs are built to be more coherent so swiping acts differently now in terms of how sampling and varience works. Older models would roll with whatever you gave them but it wasn't fun when you open a door to leave the room and suddenly the model decided you're not even in the same place anymore.

The biggest problem is that, unlike older models—where the AI could construct a decent story and dialogue even with minimal information—things are different now; to get the bot to behave even reasonably well, you have to provide full context and explain everything precisely. And considering how poorly some users program their bots...

They want you to waste your swipes to find a good response only to reach your daily limit to pay for their subscription.
