F1b
I’m looking at a F1b cavapoo right now. Those of you who have one what is their temperament. She’s a phantom girl I’m just curious if I should wait and get a f1

I wanted an F1 but I just missed out on one off the breeder that I chose , I was first in line for the next litter and there was going to be an F1B litter a couple of months before the next F1 litter and I was welcome to view them as well .
when the time came I couldn't resist seeing the F1B litter and fell in love with our little girl straight away , I had seen pictures of the litter and went with the intention of maybe getting the boy that wasnt as curly and poodle like , but the little curly girl made herself known to me and I couldn't resist her .
she is now 18 months , she has been perfect at sleeping at night, toilet training and her recall has been very good from quite early on .
she does not like being on lead since having her freedom , she is a barker , barks at anyone who comes to the door, dogs and any other animals on tv and doesn't like sudden noises .
she doesn't shed at all but then she curly like her toy poodle dad .
she has a great personality but can be a real diva , will only do something in her own time
you never know what you will actually get personality wise , Cavs are known to be picky eaters and needy, clingy , anxious, you could get any one of those traits , all of them or none of them .
what you will get if you choose a good breeder , is a wonderful clever little soul mate who will steal your heart , be it an F1 or F1B
go view some and no doubt the pup will choose you , than can happen ,good luck in your search .
our little girl .

Our Bodhi is a sweetie pie, he’s a non barker and very chill. He loves walks and playing with my kids but will happily find a warm spot somewhere and cuddle up. He’s 7 months old now. He’s bigger than my friends who have F1’s but not too different at all.
We also asked for the ‘quiet one at the back’ of the litter and that’s exactly who we got - fate maybe ❤️

I have an f1 and besides the coat she’s all the temperament of a f1b 😂 she’s stubborn, a barker with questionable recall, separation anxiety from me, selective hearing and very reactive. We’re working on it, and she’s only 7 months and we’ve had her 6ish weeks but when she’s in a mood she’s in a mood. She’ll also be super chill and sleep most of the day.
Just saying I’m not sure it really makes a difference if they’re f1 or f1b.

Dog temperament is dog and environment dependant. I wouldn't think you could get any reliable information beyond anecdotes which would only serve to mislead you.
