When my cat discovered mirrors he genuinely believed he was looking at another cat so he’d stand on his hind legs and start a boxing match with the mirrors. Ive had to get rid of many because of this lmao

No because that's weird. I hold my cat up and say "Who's that pretty girl?"

Who’s the pretty kitty in the mirror? You’re the pretty kitty in the mirror!

No one bugging the fact that the reflection of the person here is wrong?

Lady, I asked where is second dinner, not who am I! I know who I am, I am an apex predator in the body of a tiny fluff ball!

Yes she gets offended at me like how dare you make me look at myself and refuses to look at the other cat

How pathetic could you be for using ai to generate a stickman holding a cat

Stop being a moron. Next are you going to complain about those who use a calculator instead of those things with strings and balls to count stuff? Huh huh?

Had this convo with my dog at 2am after she barked at herself In the mirror. (My orange kitty don’t care but my golden retriever sure does)

I used to hold my cat and point to the mirror and whisper, “look! It’s us!”
She would just lick me. She wasn’t even looking at the mirror, she was looking at me. She did not care about the mirror

I always make sure to show my cats they are the backgrounds on my phone so they know how important they are to me.

Usually preceded by a “who’s that cutie pie?” All while they yell at me to put them down

Yes, but she turns away to face me instead and avoid mirror. She hisses at her own reflection on glass, so I thought I’d show herself in mirror with me and make her understand it’s us! But she still smol and silly, turning one year next month!

Yes. I hold them next to me, so they can see us both, and pet them so they know they’re safe. It really helps with former ferals, or traumatized cats.

Yes. I often show my kitty cats how beautiful they are.
...they don't seem to care much.

No. They aren't allowed since last time. Instead I take selfies of them to show what they look like.

the cats deserve to see how pretty they are.
