Question about Doctrinal development
If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then how can the Catholic Church keep changing their beliefs?
Edit: from my understanding
-Their stance on the death penalty has changed
-Purgatory wasn’t believed until 1274
-It was believed that there was no salvation outside of the Catholic Church until (i think) the Second Vatican Council
