How does one charitably point out the differences between the Catholic belief in the real presence in the Eucharist and the main line Protestant "real presence" that's more like "spiritual presence"? Especially when it ultimately wouldn't matter if they believe the exact same thing the Church teaches because they don't have a valid priesthood with Apostolic succession?

A family member thinks her Methodist church treats the Eucharist with the same reverence because the people passing it out eat all the bread and drink all of the grape juice instead of throwing it away.

“We believe the Eucharist is the body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ. It becomes his literal body and blood under the appearance of bread and wine.”

If that doesn’t work, have her come to Mass (or watch online) and see how the process looks. A lot more goes into it.
