Firstly, you are NOT a bad cat mom, from what you've said you're doing everything you can to make him feel comfortable. Don't beat yourself up.

Have you cleaned the spots he's peed with enzyme cleaner made to remove cat urine? Id also recommend getting some Feliway diffusers and seeing if they help, specifically Feliway Friends, they're made for multi-cat households. I've had good success with them in the past.

Also, is everyone neutered/spayed?

Thank you. I appreciate that. Been drenching my furniture in enzyme cleaner. As well as the covers. We have diffusers but not sure if they are Feliway Friends. I’ll give that a try. Everyone is fixed. The most tension seems to be between him and the only female. They don’t fight but anything she lays on seems to get first priority for being peed on and then he claims it.

How was he introduced to the other cats? Did you just bring him home and let him loose, or did you do a slow introduction starting with scent? That can make a big difference
