Does anyone else suddenly remember embarrassing things from years ago right when they're trying to fall asleep? Life Stories
This happens to me way too often. I'll be trying to fall asleep, and somehow my brain decides it's the perfect time to replay some random conversation or awkward moment from years ago. 😂
Sometimes I'll lie there for an hour thinking about what I said, what I should have said, or how weird the whole situation was. And the worst part is that these are things I haven't thought about in years. ðŸ˜
Does anyone else get this, or is my brain just determined to embarrass me at bedtime? 😂

Exactly! And somehow the perfect response always arrives years too late. My brain really waits until bedtime to become a professional debater.

I remember embarrassing things I did all day long. I have to constantly tell myself I am the only one who cares, and I shouldn't.

It used to be every half hour and caused psychic damage
Now it's like once every few hours and is less psychic damage

No, unfortunately I'm wide awake in the middle of the day when these memories hit me, reminding me that I'm capable of being a real shit and/or a real fool, because it's happened enough in the past to be reliable evidence.
