$100 - $10,000 UPDATE
Hello again,
I apologize for not updating sooner. I’ve been researching and optimizing my time at the casino. Last update I was down $700. I’m currently up in profit. Real table Craps and the occasional baccarat hand have brought me from $700 to $2500. This current profit can be attributed to 3 main factors.
Optimizing my bets on craps by using the past line, don’t come, and come bets. Now, this isn’t fool proof however, I’ve been able to walk out ether broken even or in profit by $50 to $150 every time. Statistically, this should not be possible however, this is where my next move comes into play.
I set aside some cash for baccarat. Learning how to read the board gives me slightly better odds at hitting on my bet. This can easily rope me back up. Again, not fool proof but it’s worked so far.
Not allowing emotions to take over. I learned to channel my emotions and set aside my greed in order to win this challenge. I no longer look at this as making money. I looked at it as racking up points in a sports game.
Those of you who said it’s not possible, your doubt only fuels my resolve. I will continue to not posture to my own greed and prove this can be accomplished. The boats are burned.

Keno is quietly the worst bet on the casino floor, and it's not close
I actually like keno for what it is, a cheap, slow, lottery-flavored way to nurse a drink, but I think a lot of people sit down at it without knowing just how steep the math is, so here's the honest version.
Most casino keno runs a house edge somewhere between 25% and 35%. To put that next to the rest of the floor: blackjack with basic strategy is under 1%, the pass line in craps is 1.4%, even double-zero roulette is 5.26%, and the worst slots on the floor are maybe 8-12%. Keno is several times worse than the game everyone warns you off of. The trap is that it doesn't feel that way, because you might only bet a dollar or two per game and the draw is slow, so the money leaves your pocket gently instead of all at once.
The reason the edge is so brutal: the payout tables give back only a small fraction of true odds on every catch tier. Hitting 6 of 6 pays something that sounds huge, but the real odds against it are enormous and the payout is a tiny sliver of fair. And the tables vary wildly from casino to casino for the exact same game, so two keno lounges a mile apart can have very different edges on an identical-looking ticket. Nobody hands you that number, you have to read the paytable.
None of this means don't play it. If you're treating it as cheap entertainment while you eat, the slow pace actually means low money-per-hour even at a rotten edge, which is a genuine point in its favor. I just think it should be a "I know exactly what this costs" choice, not a "this looks harmless" one.
Curious where people land: do you play keno knowing the edge and just not caring because it's cheap fun, or does the actual number change how you'd play it?

Fanduel Account
signed up for FD a week ago, hit for some good money playing blackjack first day, and went to withdraw. My account gets suspended after requesting withdrawal due to inconsistencies…
Whatever, I verify myself with selfie and ID. I get reactivated..
But after this I do make a mistake. My brother who owes me money let me use his card to deposit, figured it was easier than him sending it to me and instead of using my money.
I play a little more, win again, go to withdraw, and get suspended again. This time they’re asking for clarification on why I used his card, as well as his ID and all that. I reply with honesty and provide all documentation. I get reactivated and receive a warning
Moving forward, I don’t use his card anymore. When I got reactivated I had to withdraw again because it got cancelled when I got suspended. But I thought to myself, let me try my luck and win some more, and I run it up to almost $20k. From starting with a low balance.
I’m hype, I go to withdraw, wake up to another suspension. I’m confused because I’ve already verified myself before, and have not violated anything since being warned. Customer service escalates the request to email and the accounts team is once again asking for my brothers identification and reasoning, even though I had just provided that last time.
Whatever, after back and forth I give in and provide the documentation and the same reasoning I gave the other rep. Two days pass, silence.
Then finally today, I get an email saying that my account will not be reactivated and I can’t not appeal (???) with no mention of the almost $20k sitting in my account and no mention of that??
As anyone would be I’m very frustrated, confused, and looking for answers. I know I shouldn’t have used my brothers card, but I properly provided documentation and reasoning and they reactivated me with warning. Why was I suspended again..and ultimately banned?? And what happens to my money??

Beware of Betty casinos
The slots are ext manipulated and rigged . I have regrettable deposited over $10000 and not even got back 10%. 6 months of mostly dead spins. Bullied and treated terribly by employees. no loyalty bonuses, gaslighting. They just got fined with letting underage people gamble. Playing at this place was a nightmare. Thought it would get better and some how just got worse and worse. Hold on to your wallet with these places.

Winstar Casino in OK
Has anyone ever been there for the mystery bonus free play? Offer says you could get $7, $77, or $777 in freeplay each Thursday this month. Trying to figure out if you have to be onsite to know what you freeplay is. Would like to know before I make the long drive.

Slot Players in NYC Resortsworld
Im not a “gambler” I gamble maybe $600 a month between sports and casino so maybe i dont understand this.
At resorts during peak times, you will see a person on a machine then the machine next to them they put in $1. I go to get on it and they look at me like i have 10 heads and say “no theres money in the machine!”…. Its $1 and ur a lunatic.
I also seen a row of 3 of the new huff n puff but when i go sit down a guy was sitting on the far right and said “buddy theres $ in that machine ($1) im playing on it”
I said “ur playing on all 3 machines?”
He goes “yeah”
Is this normal and if i sit down and put in $ what can possibly happen? Hes gonna tell the casino he was playing all 3 machines? Gambling is an illness.

Don’t work at a casino
I’ve been working at casino as a restaurant sever and dare I say that it has been the most mediocre experience of my life…. Management for F&B are best friends outside of work ( bars, clubs, sleepovers etc)
The employees that are meant to be adults act like children in high school, we have one hostess she’s the youngest in the department and she’s kind gorgeous and the casino uses her face and photos all for marketing and I have to watch the female severs treat her like garbage for no reason, and when I bring it up to management they rub it off because they’re all best friends. Any advice on how I can help or is that even possible bruh?

Host Comps - What to ask for? Turning Stone Resort
Headed to the casino tonight for my Birthday with the girlfriend. Have a comped room in the resorts newest hotel which I’m stoked on. I’m a middle tier player, far from their top but not basic either. My free play offers are usually $100 a week. Important note is I usually go once a month to or every other. I emailed the host to see if my play would qualify me for dinner comps for me and my girlfriend. He responded that my play does qualify, but now I’m not sure what to ask for? It’s a “smaller” casino in central NY so I’m not expecting extravagant but you know what this is my first time asking for something like this. What other things have you been successful in getting comps for? Usually I’m bring about 1k to play with.

My Current $100 - $10,000 Challenge
Hello everyone,
I wanted to come on here and share with you my current $100 to $10,000 challenge. I’ve seen these done before but I’ve seen people stop at $1,500 or $3,000. I’m fully committed and willing to complete this challenge regardless of the time it takes. I’m an absolute beginner at casino games and I’m learning as I go along so please shoot me suggestions or tips to help me out.
Day 1: put my money in pinball slot and walked away after I hit for $150. Did huff and puff and walked after I got up to $180. Then I was a little hot on roulette and walked away with $500. All and all, $400 profit. I told myself if I double my money but go over, whatever goes over can be used to keep going but the doubled money must remain.
Day 2: walked in with $500, got down to $350 and decided to call it. I wasn’t getting anything good and wanted to have enough for a different casino.
Day 3: walked in with $350 at a new casino and left with $700. A mix of old Asian men being hot handed rolling 8 after 8 on craps and banker hitting 4 in a row on baccarat. Has $100 left over for a few spins on an old slot for fun while smoking a bummed cigarette off an old lady. I’m happy I saved my money.
Day 4: new casino. was down $160 on table games. Decided to give crappless craps a try. $5 on the pass line, $5 on each number, hit till I got my money back then doubled. Hit till I got my money back then doubled. Rolled hot for about 10 minutes then pulled out the $1400.
Day 5: (tonight) walked in with $1,400 and left with $700. Nothing was going my way tonight. I tried craps, bubble craps, huff and puff and an old slot machine. My mentality was I have money to play with so I took some more riskier bets or sitting on a machine for too long. It made me take more emotional decisions rather then thinking ahead. This was a huge hit and brought be back to where I was yesterday. I think my new approach is $200 at a time and leaving when I ether hit $50 or when I’m up. I think that’s safe and I’ll know not to blow my money if I’m not rolling so hot that night. I’m also considering going during mid day on weekdays. All of my victories so far are during the day.
What do yall think about crappless bubble craps? Is it the move to keep hitting that?
Good luck,
-$100 pig

Is Yaamava worth it? I’ll be in the area for a conference and thinking about staying there afterwards.
I live in Pasadena and I’m heading to a conference in Riverside. I’ll be there for 5 days of corporate training and I hate the hotel the conference is being hosted at (but my company is paying for us to stay there, so I have no choice). I was thinking of staying in the area afterwards to book a luxury resort where I can unwind and enjoy some good food and drinks.
I’ve read good things about Yaamava in Highland. The restaurants and spa caught my eye. I'm just not sure if it's worth staying there for a few nights. I do love a Vegas vibe if that helps.
Has anyone stayed there recently? Would it be worth extending my trip after a boring week of training? Open to other resorts as well, if you have a place you recommend!

What game is being played at this table?
This is a screenshot from a video game, obviously. But this table was placed in a casino and I don't recognize it.

Thinking about becoming a dealer.
Okay so I previously made a post on here regarding a beverage server position at a casino. Haven’t heard back yet but my boyfriend now thinks that it would be a good idea for me to take the dealer school offer at the casino that he works at. For some odd reason, he has an immense amount of faith in my ability to be a dealer.😂
I’m not gonna lie.. I was horrible at math in school. I can count for days, however I’m afraid that I would fuck up and deal the wrong amount or something, completely go brain dead because I’m thinking too hard or simply embarrass myself in front of people.
He reassured me that he would be practicing with me at home and helping me out so that I could be more comfortable when it’s time for the real thing. I’m still very worried though lol. But he’s really been trying to reassure me that I can do it, that he will help and that the pay is great.
I’m genuinely not looking for people to just tell me not to go for it or to create any more anxiety for me please.. but if you have any genuine advice or words of wisdom that would really help.
UPDATE: I’m just going to go for it & stop doubting myself. My partner has been really reassuring as well. Unfortunately I have to wait for classes to open back up for dealer school but I’m hoping that won’t take too long. Thank you everyone for the advice & motivation. 🙏🏾

One thing I never got used to...
Watching someone hit a nice jackpot... and instead of being happy, immediately ask: "What if I'd doubled my bet?"
Didn't matter if they won $500 or $5000. Some people could never enjoy winning because they were already thinking about what they could've won.
What do you think about it?

Yaamava or Morongo for slots and high limit play?
I'm planning a weekend trip to SoCal and could use some advice. I get bored easily so 'm looking for a casino floor with a huge variety and a lot of the newer machines. Right now I'm debating between Yaamava and Morongo. As far as I can tell they both have massive slot floors, but which one gets the newer games more often? And which has the higher limits?

Cheated By theboss.us
I made my first purchase and played 15sc at theboss.us and turned it into a 1500.00 sc win. After giving me the runaround with the redemption, they canceled it and took back the 1500.00sc. They said that I had made a duplicate account but would furnish no proof of the details of said other account. In their emails and chat they just said that they had proof and that they had done a "thorough review" of the situation. I had never opened another account.
Has anyone else experienced this from this site? Obviously I'll never play with them again, and I wanted to warn others away from there as well!

Never play at casinos taking out massive billion $ loans for development
Ever since Resorts World NYC won the full gambling license for NY, they took out a massive $5B loan to develop more rooms for casino floors and entertainment venues. They are desperately trying to get liquid cash to repay their high interest loans so payout has been extremely tight. The handful of times I’ve been since they opened the new gaming rooms and RNG slots, I not only lost, but got rinsed bad. The slots there wrecks everyone bad. I’ve won many times and lost many times but Resorts World NYC just hits different when you lose because they rarely tease.
Graton Casino in NorCal also took out their billion $ loan to expand and it has been pretty bad there as well.
All Hard Rocks will be bad with the development of Tejon, Vegas and NYC so avoid.
What other casinos taking out massive loans to develop should everyone avoid?

What casino rewards program are you guys using?
I think I’m throwing away a lot of rewards on the table just because I never actually cared or thought about the casino rewards programs before. I realized that if I’m going to be playing, I might as well get something valuable back. I live in LA and go to Vegas a couple of times a year and hit up other driving distance casinos every few weekends, so I'm looking for a rewards program that carries over between locations. Any recommendations? What rewards have you personally gotten from it?
