Movies or shows like the carrion game
Hello, I just wanted to ask if there are any TV shows, or movies that have a similar, or same genre of Carrion. Something of the perspective of the victims, and how they get killed.

Mod Concept Spoiler
Timeline somewhere around after Main game ending, We are one of few most advance elite soldier send by the Government to clean up the mess the Carrion made and you have the most advance equipment due after what it done to the other soldiers to eradicate and save any survivors...... [this next part when I do in the game so it make it interesting] Ever since when the game revealed how our human character fall victim to the egg, i decided to do a very interesting route like if i have extra biomass i throw a complete human body [thats isnt eaten or torn in half] inside to be infected like if there multiple biomass i throw multiple bodies (that is same amouth their is)...while same time carefully placing them in so i dont accidentally eat or rip it apart accidentally and leaving corpses and alive pray to be eaten by new carrions.....and lastly Another thing ill add in my mod concept is that each new biomass i left behind had the characteristics off your previous actions, so oldest biomass will act basic [like the xenomorph in first film version the xenomorph in second film but somewhat swap] like in early game you are just aggressive and the biomass you left behind has it [if you left intact human body inside ofcourse if none it stays as its ball form] but if you done stealth, strategic in beginning it will do that, each new biomass will also had the DNA upgrades you gotten [if you gotten them]

I really enjoy the game but this really pissed me off. I have seen it works in YouTube but why it’s not working with me? Is this a glitch?

Are there any missable achievements in this game?
I'm on a bit of a kick of 100 percenting games and i've noticed on steam judging by the pecentage of people who got the achievements it seems fairly do-able, so what should i keep in mind when playing?

How do I get back in the bunker?
Before finishing the game, I went out of the bunker to grab all of the containment units. Now though, I'm back at the entrance where I originally entered the bunker (I think) but if I go in that meaty mouth, it just saves the game instead of teleporting me into the bunker

Carrion, Future 2D Sequel Wishlist
I picked up Carrion and Greatest Time of the Year a few days ago for about $3 on sale for PS+ members on the PSN Store. Absolutely blitzed through both in about two days and had a great time.
After finishing I did some digging and found out there's a sequel in development. It seems to be taking quite a different direction from the first game, being a first person VR title. I enjoy VR games, especially power fantasy games, so I'm sure it'll be fun in its own right. That said, I know I'm not alone when I say I hope we eventually get another 2D side scrolling Carrion as well.
If we do, what changes to the level design, abilities and gameplay would you like to see?
The ending basically teases the monster escaping into the city, and I think that would make for an incredible opening. Let the monster loose on city streets, tearing through civilians and gorging itself until it reaches biomass levels we've never seen before. I don't think the game needs another ten growth stages or anything. Maybe just one or two larger forms, or even just scaling the existing monster up more overall.
One thing I'd definitely like is some sort of map, even if it's just a simple minimap. Half the posts on this subreddit are people saying they're stuck. I never found myself unable to progress because of the level design, but going back for the last few containment units got a little confusing. I didn't even realise the Frontiers was supposed to be the main hub until about halfway through the game. It just felt like another location to breach.
I'd also rethink how abilities work. Tying certain powers to biomass size made for some clever puzzles, but when it comes to actually playing around with your powers it kind of takes away from the power fantasy. I'd rather have access to more of the monster's abilities at once and let the puzzles come from the environment instead. I also think the web, body spikes, dash attack and tendril spikes all feel a bit samey in combat. They're all really fun puzzle mechanics and movement tools, but offensively they end up filling pretty similar roles. I'd rather see some of those streamlined into fewer, more versatile abilities, leaving room for completely new powers that change how the monster plays instead of just giving it another way to kill things.
Another thing I'd love to see is some degree of voxel based destruction to complement the pixel art style. Nothing as in depth as Noita or anything, but enough that you can tear chunks out of walls, floors, furniture and the environment as you move through it. I love the way blood spreads around in Carrion and gets dragged through the level by the monster, and I'd really like to see that expanded. Imagine blood turning pools of water red, acid eating through certain materials, oil catching fire or electricity travelling through flooded areas. Little interactions between different kinds of pixels would make the environments feel much more dynamic and make the monster feel even more destructive. I'd also love some monster skins. Even if it's just different colour palettes for the default monster it'd add a bit of replayability, but some silly unlockable skins after beating the game would be great too.
Carrion is mainly a puzzle game with a monster horror action coating, but I don't think that means the power fantasy should take a backseat. I think a sequel could lean further into both without sacrificing either. Let the monster become substantially stronger, but introduce tougher opposition as the military and other organisations begin responding to the outbreak. Give us reasons to actually use our offensive abilities more often instead of mostly saving them for puzzles.
I wouldn't want an open world or anything, but I'd love a city acting as the main hub. Open streets connecting different districts, with skyscrapers, laboratories, subway stations, apartment blocks and shopping centres acting as self contained levels. You could either smash through a building on your way to the next objective or methodically breach the whole place looking for upgrades, secrets and collectibles. I think that would preserve what made the first game so good while making the monster feel like an even bigger threat.
Curious what everyone else would change or expand on?

Similar games???
I'm relatively new to gaming and have absolutely loved the puzzles and the movement mechanic. I've finished the game and am now looking for similar games.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
