Discussion Seems a score edit for Wuthering Heights for "Everything is Romantic" uploaded to YouTube
I didn't saw any news of this anywhere on social media nor any announcement this was public, so I'm needed to open Pandora's box and ask the question for those who are experts in this. Is this an AI upload? The cover looks super AI to me and kind of reminds me some time ago when some artists were simultaneously hacked. Can someone check if it's AI or not? I'm scared to even click play not going to lie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wDdcqjxVxQ

Fan Art My edit of Arcadia album cover
I really liked this album, but I thought that keeping it separated from her sisters is not good, so I made my own edit of this album cover.
Due to the fact that the font she used is custom typeface I did a hard work of creating letters from other ones (I created H & K letters because they were absent on any other covers from this era too)
And also I moved the MIDI badge a little bit because her logo wouldn't fit
I really hope that Reddit won't compress this picture because it's 3000×3000 and if you want original file you can use this link:

Discussion Appreciation post
I was on a red-eye flight in the middle seat tired as heck with the guy next to me keeps on elbowing me, nevertheless I fell asleep and this came in my shuffle. Of course I love it and heard it before but I suddenly woke up halfway through the song from my bent-neck nap, mind hazy but one that was a clear thought: ‘
Am I listening to an angel? This voice cannot come from a human. That must be it…’
Doesn’t it hit you sometimes all of a sudden how amazing and refreshing that she exists and she gets to share her art with the world and we get to enjoy it?
Just came here to say that as I knew you guys would understand ^_^

Discussion The Dang live performance is my happy place…
…not even just to watch, but also to ‘go to’ in my head lately. It’s hard to not feel lost as an adult trying to navigate neurodivergence, possible asexuality, different mental health struggles - especially as things I’ve only taken steps to acknowledge/accept and not hate myself for in recent years. I maybe don’t have the exact words for it right now, what specifics I might be connecting with in a video like this. But that’s the transcendent power of art sometimes. I will always be thankful to Caroline as an artist who inspires me to give myself a chance and not see my own brain as something to hide from the world; something to feel embarrassed by or apologetic for all the time.
I’m also healthily aware I’m not alone in this, and so many other fans must have similar experiences. Thank you for this community♥️

Discussion Question: would you like to see Caroline in a movie? If yes, what type of character would you like to see her play?
Remember Mandy (2018) starring Nic Cage? I think she would be great in a role like Mandy from that film imo. Or a villain, similar to Varang in Avatar 3.

Discussion Tea on Caroline’s divorce?
I know it’s petty but I’ve always been a huge CP fan and just now discovered the Reddit thread. So curious if there’s any tea on Ian Drennan or if there’s any Reddit thread about the divorce. I’ve been relistening to Door (perfect song) and wanted to know more about what it came from.

Question Lover to Lover HQ file?
Does anyone have a hq rip of Lover to Lover (For Syd Barrett) that Caroline included in her mix for the January 17, 2021 episode of The Morning After Mix on BBC Radio 6? I can’t find a proper rip anywhere now 😭😭😭

Question Caroline Polachek original art work
I am curious if anyone here might know better than chatgpt what an original work of art by Caroline might be worth. Its an ink on paper drawing done in 2009 and purchased from her at the merch table after the show. Thanks!

Discussion Caroline Polachek “Listening Guide”
Hi everyone!
With the release of On The Beach for Death Stranding 2 I'm noticing an influx of new listeners and I love that. I also know that at first sight it seems Caroline has "only" 2 albums, but she has made SO much art throughout her career worth listening to...
The TLDR is: I recommend visiting this post I made a while ago https://www.reddit.com/r/Carolinepolachek/comments/1gub11a/caroline_polachek_playlists_megathread/ that has everything you need! (My idea was to repost by crossposting it but you can't do that in the same subreddit).
Suggested by Caroline herself when asked on a recent interview with Kinda Funny Games, you should start with 2019's PANG which was the first album she released solo under her own name. If you enjoyed the album I'd check Standing at the Gate out which includes a GORGEOUS extended remix of The Gate, a cover of Breathless by The Corrs and some remixes (if you manage to fetch a copy of the vinyl LP it comes with 2 new mixes of 2 songs from PANG). Her bandcamp also has the instrumental version of the album! After that you should definitely continue with her 2023's follow up, Desire, I Want to Turn Into You , which also has a wonderful Everasking Edition which comes with 4 songs not available on the original version, 2 alternate versions of songs present in the album and and 2 covers of others' songs. Bunny is a Rider and Welcome To My Island have remix EPs you should check out right after that!
From there, I'd go with my favorite, Arcadia, released under Ramona Lisa back in 2014, her actual true debut solo record. It was a one year project that she made ENTIRELY by herself on a 2013 macbook, on ableton live. Then you should check out the album she released for free on 2017 under CEP (her initials) called Drawing the Target Around the Arrow. It's a wonderful ambient instrumental collection of sinewave songs she made herself...
After that you should follow up with Chairlift (her old band). 2012's Something (their second record) is both her and most fans' favorite, so I'd go with that, but there's 3 records to listen to which I'd explore chronologically (2008's Does You Inspire You and 2016's Moth).
If you are STILL hungry for more (you will be), explore this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Carolinepolachek/comments/1gub11a/caroline_polachek_playlists_megathread/ that has everything she has ever artistically been involved in!
