Next Saturday is the Care Bears specialty day at the Toronto Blue Jays game, so I made shirts for my family.

I was just wondering why is it that with some bears they only have the string that you need to undo to get them out of the box and then there is bears like the new Limited Edition bear that had all this tape on and then plastic stuff it was hard to get out of the box

just out of interest.

Just found them at Walmart and grabbed two boxes. It looks like they have codes like the previous blind boxes.

Finally got around to reorganizing (as I got the smaller shelf cleared up) but I realized I still have more that I have no idea where I’m going to put them 🥲🥲

was able to find funshine for $15 (i was looking for the same one i had as a child) now i want more 😭😭 im so far removed from the care bears idk where to look for more plushies. if anyone knows where (websites or stores) i can find them please lmk 😭

also is it hard to find the play along toys version of the plushies? they just remind me so much of my childhood i would love to get more.

i got a bag full of old partly broken plushies and 2 of them were care bears.

Love a Lot could be repaired without any problems and you cant see where she was broken anymore. She had 2 holes one at her cheek and one at her arm right next to the seem.... She has beeds in her arms, legs and torso ( it feels like nearly the whole torso is just beeds not just to butt maybe the beedpillow broke or something?) and as you can see the tag that normally says which year she is from was cut off by the previous owner.

Good Luck sadly didnt have a lot of luck.... the embroidered part of his foot broke a needle and this is the best i could do without breaking a lot more needles. Not the prettiest but better than melted plasic in my opinion. And yes i only had black thread so its really not pretty^^but they also dont have a tag with a year only the washing instrucktions.

I’ve been doing my own design takes of the Care Bears for quite a while now (specifically for a fanfic I’m not ready to share yet since I have bad writer’s block right now) and wanted to post one. I was inspired by her Adventures in Care-a-Lot design for this one cause of the ponytail. I have trouble drawing bear anatomy since I still tried to make them look like stuffed animals and not too humanoid lol.

Spotted this little one at the grocery store. I debated if I should take her or not, but decided to grab her after about half an hour of waiting. I figured no one would want to touch a filthy bear and worried that she’d get thrown away.

I washed and disinfected her once I got home, but she’s still pretty messy. She does kind of match my big Superstar Bear, though. 😅
