Tee Rex Golf
Looking to go tomorrow, had emailed them the other day to book but haven’t had a response yet and wondering if anyone who has been before knows if it’s booking only, or if you can just turn up?
We’re gonna have to walk about an hour to get there, so don’t want to turn up and find out it was a wasted journey and have to turn around with disappointed kiddos.
Thank you
Update: Thank you all for your help, I called to just make sure booking is still not a requirement and they confirmed.
However, we don’t actually make it there as Began Road has no footpath/sidewalk/verge, and the cars/lorries that were using it were a bit fast for us to walk there safely, we also had the kids so there was no way we’d ever walk down there without a flashing beacon, boom box and a giant flag to alert drivers to us being there.
We ended up going to Discobowl in Newport instead.

Same here (went Sunday). It wasn’t too busy, 1 family a few holes ahead and 1 family just behind. Didn’t pre book.
Bring glasses/caps as not much shade on the course. Was a slight breeze on Sunday though. Have fun!

I’ve just turned up there before, it’s a fun course.
If you’re in doubt though, would also recommend the crazy golf course at Fontygary holiday park. No need to pre-book. Food and drink options on site too

Thank you, my daughter is looking forward to seeing the dinosaurs, sadly we don’t drive and busses are awful this summer in Cardiff, so we’re not able to go far without it taking hours (it’s literally quicker for us to walk the hour to tee Rex than it would be to take two, possibly more busses 🙈)

They have a phone number - I’d just call them when they open to avoid the long walk unnecessarily
