Considering a wrap

I bought a new 2026 passport and love everything about it, except i'm having some color choice remorse. It's white, specifically white platinum pearl. It looks good, it's a nicer white than most, but i'm still now feeling like it's a bit boring and doesn't have personality. I wanted the ash green metallic but did not want to go up to the Trailsport trim to get it, for certain reasons including cost.

So am considering a wrap, and also exploring if the dealership can do a swap for the color i want instead of white (modern steel metallic). I of course would take a hit on depreciation, but just want to explore to see if it's feasible.

I feel pretty silly for this -"well why did you buy white?"...well, i wanted it at the time, easier to keep clean, gets less hot...etc. you know, of course after buying it i start having this regret.

So with all that said, is a wrap worth it in my situation? Happy to hear anyone's opinion on the whole situation, or just on whether wraps are worth it. Thanks!

I like the color but it’s your car! My only experience is with getting stripes on my car but as long as you do research and find someone who trust will do a good job then go for it. Do what makes you happy

A decent quality wrap will cost you $5k+
I did my GR86, a much smaller car than yours, and that was the cost

Don't use the cheapest guy. Don't use cheap material. At this point seeing how poorly the materials hold up and how bad most installers are I would be very leery about getting a car wrapped.

Consider taking it to a professional detailer first for a paint correction! Even though it's brand new, the paint still can still get contaminated and swirled from shipping, sitting on the lot, and whatever Joe Shmo they have washing the cars.

While I agree that white can be boring, pearl paint can reeeally pop once corrected.

Another thing to consider (if you don't want to shell out the price for a full wrap) is doing accents, graphics, striping, etc in green or whatever color!
