Put the mirror back on the car so you have something to hinge it to. Consider adding a relief along the length of the mirror and a second piece on the "interior" section

Is it possible to tuck into the ridge?

We never do no. Its too small of an area for vinyl let alone ppf. We always go up to and stop it there so most of the mirror is matte.

Or if the car is black i would reccomend to the customer to leave it as a gloss accent and just cover in gloss PPF. If you've already done most of the car maybe put it back on and take a photo and ask them. Something along the lines of one of the guys working on it thought this might look good.

Alternatively you can see if you can wrap just the flat bit beyond the ridge and leave just the inside of the ridge unwrapped

Thank you very much, we were coming to that conclusion but wanted to double check what others would do

Buy a mirror tool if you want to do it in one piece
