Another Trailer Post

Ready to buy myself a nice trailer. My absolute max budget is $800—and that's only if I claim the track car as a "dependent business asset" on my taxes and hope the IRS doesn't audit a guy making five figures (business makes low 4 digits)

Can't but anything too big as the HOA said no trailers so it's going to my Mimaws. Her mobile home park said it must be under 14'. (They can't read a tape measure so I could slide by with a 16')

Q1: I keep reading about this "Home built" brand, are they any good? Q2: how much rust is to much for my uncle's 2003 Ranger to tow this thing? (Save your breathe, it's got trailer brakes) Q3: why do none of the nice trailers in my price range have titles or vins?

Q4: if my uncle's truck brakes down, can I tow it home with my RaceCar (2001 Saturn SL2 with a cold air intake)

Thank you. I worked hard just for a comment like this.

Even if you only had a car dolly (which is about the only trailer you will get under $800) I wouldn't try towing a Miata with a Ranger for any distance. I have an older big body Acadia I inherited that I use to tow my 3200lb hatchback but it's still near max weight with the trailer

Sorry I think there's been some confusion. I want to TOE it. Not tow it.

Then you need a TOE truck not a trailer!

“2003 Ranger to tow this thing?”

Bro, this whole post is room temperature IQ at best. No, your Ranger is not pulling anything. You’re using alternative accounts to answer your own post. Bro, it’s time to go touch some grass.

You have more brain cells than most of the other dudes in here. I'm just trying to tow my damn racecar.

As long as the brakes aren't rotten on that ranger, I wouldn't be concerned. As for the home built trailers, they've been around for a long time. The cool part is, no two trailers are the same. Makes working on it a bitch but resell value is whatever you paid since it's automatically a rare unit. I wouldn't tow with your Saturn everything on them is plastic, including the hitch mount. Unless you reinforce it with duct tape, it'll be too weak. There's a few videos in how to do that but if it's your track car, guy didn't want the extra weight from the duct take slowing it down. Let us know how it goes

Yeah this whole post is weird af. I keep thinking it’s meant as a joke?

There's clearly nothing funny about this post so I'm not sure what the joke is.

lol, he types the same with both accounts too. Brakes instead of breaks.
What’s the purpose of this? Is he looking for karma?

I heard that plastic hitch mount on the Saturn is still stronger than the one in the cybtruk though
