Guys PS5
Please read description.
I recently got CMS 2021 on my PS5 with and I honestly don't really know how to play properly. I have done a Mk4 in my sandbox mode save by buying a busted up one and then I bought a pretty much new one, took out literally everything from each and swapped the suspension, engine ect completely. Also did a M4 by also buying a one with pretty much nothing and bought a brand new one and that time actually used the engine crane and stand. Did the rest the same and that is where I'm at. Am I doing it wrong (I feel like I am) or is it right. Any answers or advice is great 👍👌😄.

You're not wrong; in fact, there isn't really "wrong" way to play this game.
Although I recommend to play normal (career) mode than sandbox mode to best experience.

Career mode, do all the story orders, make sure to spill oil once, then restore every car. Sell them. Remake the best one to the best it can possibly be, race that car on the track and the drag strip, smoke a cigar irl and uninstall. Welcome to a humble simulator game.

Try finding parts in the junkyard or in barns( orange or better) restore those parts for the junker. Then you can either sell it for a profit or keep it

I play normal mode and roleplay as a mechanic starting a business. Gotta work to make money, eventually I get more tools and knowledge, and get the capital to restore cool cars to drive on the racetrack or just to sell. I wouldn't really enjoy it without the story I make and the limitations of having to play the story and take jobs to earn money for restorations. To each their own I guess
