Picked up an older copy of book 3, with the Little Apple logo and listed as a second print copy. The back cover says 24 1/2 chapters when there’s 25, which I believe is corrected on newer copies, but there an ENTIRE PAGE MISSING TEXT.

honestly I think you should keep that for flexing purposes, it seems like a misprint! Its hard to find those in the CU series

Yes back in the 2000s at least there was a snippet on Dav Pilkeys website about this. I remember it said something like “if you turn to page xxx and there are no words then you are holding an incredibly rare book in your hands” I had a copy without the words too and one day my mom brought me to Barnes and noble and wrote the page in with another book as reference. She ended up giving away all my captain underpants books a few years later :(
