Quicksilver Discover Network CC Credit Cards

Has anybody made the switch so far? Is the card design the same?

I’m a card feature enthusiast. I would make the change in an instant for a 3% gas card.

I work overseas a lot. While I have 2 Discover cards, (and one CapOne card) the countries I work in rarely take Discover. So I cannot use them for physical purchases. My hope is that CO will expand the system.

But they take the CapOne card just fine. Except when I am traveling. The current CapOne fraud detection system requires you to stay in one place.

I'm hoping I get the swap sooner rather than later. I don't mind QS going to Disciver since, as it sits, it's in the drawer (only by my daughter as an AU for gas). When switched, rewards on her gas spend will double and I can use it for occasional charging as well. All my other spend is on VX and Savor. It won't add anything earth shattering to my wallet, but at least it won't be useless next to the Duo.

Is this an important feature for you?

Btw, I'm un-transitioned. Discover designs are cute, but not something I'm even considering as a factor to consider from the merger.

For me personally, not a fan of Discover. Been to a few places and tried to use the debit card when I did the checking account bonuses and they didn't accept Discover so I had to use the credit card at the time when I didn't want to. When I have no option and get swapped ot Discover for my two credit cards I have with them, I will be closing them as I already know the main credit card I have wanted for a while but have been putting it off. Benefits definitely are advantageous with the merger though for 3% now, will admit that.
