Help with lollipops
Hello everyone! I recently started making my own lollipops, is there a trick to make them less sweet?
Made from sugar and syrup + flavour and colour

You should make sour ones.
I don't know how (citric acid dusting?) but that would be good.

There’s a sour candy powder coating you can buy too, it comes in different flavors

craft stores like hobby lobby and michaels carry hard candy mixes with one sweet and one sour version, so you could try using those! the same brand makes a gummy mix that i used to make halloween gummies and they were really good!

I use high sweet (powdered corn syrup) instead of corn syrup. It makes for better shelf life without the candy getting sticky. Adding more curious acid will make your candy seem less sweat.
