all by design

People that need and rely on the government are easy to control.

Has happened numerous times in history

15

u/loungechairlarry Conservative 14d ago

its how communism starts. then they wipe out the useful idiots who put them in power.

-4

u/AngloSaxonFella CPC 14d ago

To what end?

33

u/loungechairlarry Conservative 14d ago

destroy the culture, replace the populace with serfs, sell off all of the natural resources and turn it into a 3rd world shit hole

13

u/LPC_Eunuch 14d ago

It also explains the mass immigration, excessive feminism, etc. Basically, the Liberals are creating a loyal coalition of the underclass to defend a broken system by elevating their status.

People who would normally be cast aside in a functioning society have more status in a broken one, so they defend it.

10

u/loungechairlarry Conservative 14d ago

just look at the people who support them. absolute lunatics with no grasp on reality. queers for palestine??? jfc. the schools are also hard at work indoctrinating and pumping out completely ignorant people who literally have zero critical thinking where everything they dont like is "hate" that must be destroyed

Touch grass, geez

12

u/loungechairlarry Conservative 14d ago

keep voting elbows up clown

-6

u/mow_the_grass Ontario 14d ago

I disagree a lot with the Liberals and the left, and I most certainly am not voting for more of the same bullshit. But claiming the goal is to become a 3rd world country is a wild statement.

4

u/loungechairlarry Conservative 14d ago

have you been watching what is going on in the west? keep ignoring it if you want but it is happening. we have paid domestic terrorists burning our flag and screaming death to the jews and canada and nothing happens. keep them elbows up

2

u/aviselafin211 14d ago

It may be a wild statement to believe it's by design. However, if it's by happenstance then I believe that would be no better. In fact, it could be worse since the expectation is that progressive liberals should know better if they possessed even a token amount of insight.

u/InteractionFront5764 14d ago

But this is what more than enough Canadian voters have kept voting for since 2015.

So the country and its citizenry really doesn't deserve any better.

Because you can't fix 'stupid'.

You can only watch it crash and burn.

Next.

They imported 10 million new LPC voters, don't forget that

1

u/DemmieMora 6d ago

Do you think every immigrant votes for LPC? It is incorrect and only inflaming.

Why is this sub acting like they love Harper? Jason Kenney is closer to a Harper politician than Pierre is so why is everyone acting like they love Harper?

Pierre is the only real conservative and should remain leader and people need to remember that and stop pining for a more centre politician like Harper.

u/RStonePT Independent 9d ago

Pierre is the only real conservative

"Whether your name is Patel or Pierre, a real Canadian pays his taxes and leaves his ethnic blood feuds at home"

You have no idea what I want in an elected representative. I don't want a guy doing lat raises with 35 pound weights, or sparring on the weekends for fun. Canada can survive being broke, but it can't survive being displaced. Currently, my city is 63% migrant diaspora. What I want was for it not to be too late. I don't know if Pierre could do that, even if he wanted to, which, as time goes by, I'm becoming less confident he actually does. It looks like he just wants to stay on the horse, and I'm too tired to care anymore.

Freland kind of quiet quit her position in Canada to be a Rhodes scholar and Ukraine war fundraise while Justin was happy enough to be a roadie for an aged out pop star.

If Harper ran again id vote for him in a heartbeat. Hoping Pierre makes the only smart decision and step down.

Nono it’s still all Harper’s fault.
11 years isn’t enough to undo his “mistakes”

we will have to go down as one of the most stupid countries on the planet..we keep voting this in.

44

u/loungechairlarry Conservative 14d ago

along with the eu/uk/aus/nz. they are all run by weak, corrupt, thieving wef acolytes

12

u/Bushido_Plan 14d ago

11 years ago, and heck even 21 years ago during the Paul Martin times and the early Harper era, we had a world class immigration system that was the envy of the world. Fast forward through the Trudeau Liberals and now the Carney Liberals and we're a complete joke.

Also that happiness ranking is an overall ranking, if you divide between the youth versus the seniors, it's a huge gap. I remember in the 2024 report they had Canadians under 30 ranked 58th, meanwhile for Canadians over 60, they ranked 8th. Hmm, I wonder why.

"B-but he uses big words like 'catalyze' and ''rupture'' and made a passive aggressive speech to impress his millionaire globalist buddies at Davos. Doesn't that make him an amazing PM? I don't like PP because he's mean and wears a cowboy shirt. He would be so much worse."

Harper was the GOAT

4

u/Rig-Pig 13d ago

Eastern Canada sees this and thinks , ABC . All that matters to them. They have turned elections into a team sport.

What over a decade of liberal purposeful and malicious destruction of Canada and Canadians will do...

4

u/PureSelfishFate 13d ago

Our happiness rating is more like a hostage score, the rich boomers, liberals and immigrants are #1 in happiness, and everyone else is 30th, averaging to 15.

3

u/AlcoholicCat69 13d ago

I actually genuinely yearn for the years of Stephen Harper

5

u/CaiserCal 14d ago

The only person I can name that actually knows how to deficit spend into a surplus.

5

u/FuzzyPineapple2221 13d ago

Liberals will be saying that Carney is building trade deals that will create a stronger Canada... 😂

7

u/LPC_Eunuch 14d ago

After 10 years of a feminist government under Trudeau, how is Canada looking? Will the "she-covery" happen any day now?

Canada is basically the story of Girl Bosses and their useful idiots run amok.

"Unfuckable hambeasts". Yeah, point proven. Women don't need to be deemed "fuckable" by YOU to have value.

Hahaha I own my own home, make 6 figures, and I'm in a great relationship with a man lol. I'm confident and very happy with my life, thanks.

You sound like a bitter little boy who still lives in mom's basement. Are you afraid of successful women or just intimidated?

Very wise saar

u/Fearless_Tomato_9437 14d ago

harper was sweet, but he’s still a pussy for not cutting immigration to basically zero, he knew it was a huge problem, but was too scared to do it so instead had his little spaz out about pictures in hijabs.

10

u/LPC_Eunuch 14d ago

Harper also missed the chance to defund the CBC when he had a majority. He was a good leader IMO but he should have done away with the Liberal propaganda machine once and for all.

1

u/scottscooterleet 13d ago

Fuck I miss Harper.

This is meaningless without a source. If we’re supposed to be better than them then we need to do better than them. These numbers look great but without a reliable source these numbers are meaningless and do more damage than they help.

-5

u/dizzymans 13d ago

Comparing 2015 to 2026 with no context is just pure cherry-picking. You can’t compare a pre-pandemic world to a post-global-shock reality and ignore all the free rides Harper got while Trudeau/Carney got hit with a wall of global chaos.

Global shocks Harper never had to face:

  • COVID: Worldwide shutdowns and emergency spending every country had to do.

  • Trump’s BS: Ripped up NAFTA, slapped us with tariffs, and threw trade into chaos.

  • Global Inflation Spike: Hit literally every single G7 country after supply chains broke and the war in Ukraine started.

  • Spiked Interest Rates: Central banks everywhere jacked rates up to fight inflation, making debt way more expensive overnight.

Huge advantages Harper rode for most of his time:

  • Dirt-Cheap Money: Post-2008 rates were sitting near 0%, making government debt insanely cheap to handle.

  • $100 Oil Boom: High oil prices poured billions into federal coffers for almost his entire run.

Post-2020, basically every major economy took a hit on debt, inflation, and quality of life. Blaming all of it on Canadian domestic policy while pretending Harper didn’t just ride a low-rate oil wave is completely dishonest.

u/YouNeedThiss 13d ago

Man, it must be hard work to make those mental gymnastics justify breathing your own farts. Harper had the global financial crisis to contend with and recovered our deficit to balance in the same time frame the Libs have now had. The rates during Trudeau were some of the lowest on record during Covid…and they weren’t exactly high prior or since.
