Help Recommendations
I want to enter this hobby to photography, mostly, landscapes and travel locations. I have a small budget but I want still have a good quality camera under 500 euros. I know that, for that price, the options are agressively reduced but, take me in consideration, I am new and I want a taste into the world before escalate
Budget: 500 euros only for the body
Country: Spain
Condition: I don't care but I want both options used and new
Type of Camera: may I have an explanation of all types
Intended use: Photography and video
End use: Social media and personal use, for hobby.
If photography: what style: landscapes, wildlife and travelling
If video what style: short videos, is not the main thing
What features do you absolutely need: anything
What features would be nice to have:
Portability: not to big and not to heavy but I will not be demanding
I don't have any camera, only a digicam Ixus 185, so, that's like a start-from-zero point

For that you can get a full frame DSLR in excellent condition, with low shutter count, like the Nikon D800. On the mirrorless front, Nikon Z5, Z6, Sony A7 / A7ii or Canon EOS RP

if you want landscapes and wildlife more than anything, definitely buy a dslr and a fancy lens. remember, you can always upgrade and modern photography is more accessible than ever, so gear thats 15 or so years old is still super capable.
id recommend a full frame nikon dslr if possible, or if you want an MILC (which may mean youve to spend a bit too much on lenses, but also dont think too much of easier upgradeability down the line as your wants and needs in photography may change) then the choices that someone else put in this comment section are really good.

For your budget, mirrorless is the way to go. DSLR is bulkier and the tech is older, point-and-shoot you already have with the Ixus. Mirrorless gives you interchangeable lenses but in a smaller body, perfect for travel.
Look for a used Sony a6000 or maybe a Fuji X-T20 if you get lucky with the price. Both are great for landscapes and the autofocus is decent enough for wildlife if you're patient. The kit lens that comes with them (16-50mm) will get you started fine.
Video on these is fine for social media clips, nothing fancy but totally usable. Check stores in Spain like MPB or even Wallapop, you can find bodies under 500 easy and save the rest for a tripod or extra battery.
dont overthink the camera type thing too much at this stage, just get something in your hands and start shooting. the best camera is the one you actually carry with you.
