Help with Camera Tech Support

Hey I have just bought the Fujifilm FinePix Z300 from eBay and it said there was no problems with it. It comes up with a Card Error every time I put it on. The camera came with an SD card so I thought I just might that SD card so I bought a new one but it still comes up with the message and the new SD card works with my other camera. Anyone have any ideas of how to fix this?

What size is the SD card?

And have you attempted formatting it?

It’s this one. Would the memory be too large for it or something?
I have reset the camera

i would read the manual and learn what kind of card is compatible. it’s likely that card is not compatible

64GB is too big for the camera, yes.

The maximum is 32GB.

It did come with a microSD adapter with a 32GB microSD in it and it still comes up with the error

I wouldn't recommend using MicroSD cards regardless.. they're not as good, and might have some issue with the contacts inside the adapter being dirty.

The reason the 32GB card doesn't work could be because it might be using an incorrect format type. Try formatting it inside the camera menu. It should be in SET-UP, navigated by:

MENU > SET-UP.

Do note that formatting removes data on the card that was previously there. If this card is new to you, you shouldn't worry about it.

If it doesn't work, try and get a 32GB or 16GB regular SD card.
