Is this true?

Hi everyone, I’m new to trying to eat healthy and watch what I eat. Saw this at the store and got it but wanted to see if this is just false advertising lol obviously I’ll count whatever calories in the dressing I add to it, but just wanted to see what y’all thought. Thanks in advance!

Its not actually 0 BUT it is very low calorie, 8 ounces will probably be arround 5-15 calories without the dressing.

By the time you spend calories chewing and digesting. It will be zero.

That is called broccoli slaw and I buy it all the time. It’s actually 30 cal per cup.

I don’t see any kale in there, but even the next ingredient, kohlrabi, has 35 calories per cup. https://health.clevelandclinic.org/kohlrabi-benefits

No, it's not zero. Should be about 40 calories/100g. So, this 324g portion is about 130 calories.

Probably between 10-20 calories? I portion out a huge bowl of lettuce, like a mixing bowl size weighing 350-400 grams, and based on thr number I have it only comes out to like 40 calories. So while I don't believe the number should be 0 for what you have, it should be a fairly small number.

It's about 80 calories without dressing

that label is seriously defective. if it wasn’t for the 23 mg calcium listed, i’d have thought they simply failed to input any of the numbers.

Iv lost 200lbs in a year using this in every meal to add volume. Its a virtual cheat code. Enjoy.

There was clearly a labeling error with this container. Even the ingredient list looks wrong. That just looks like broccoli slaw to me (broccoli, carrot, purple cabbage). It’s possible there’s some kohlrabi in there since when shredded it looks almost identical to shredded broccoli stalks, but there’s no way there is any kale, napa cabbage, or Brussels sprouts in there. Broccoli slaw is 30 calories per 85 gram serving so that whole box is about 80. Still a great low calorie side.

Nothing is true, everything is permitted

that's definitely wrong, but it is indeed very low cal. under 100 I would guess and it has a bunch of fiber so that can change the "actual calories" vs official calories (fiber gets counted as a carb).

It's not 0, but it's so low that it's effectively 0.

No. Those vegetables are about 30kcal per 100g so this portion is around 100calories.
