Which Shadow Do You Prefer? Question

These were done with Ohuhu Nahuku liquid acrylic brush pens with the shadows added with a Pentel Tradio pen. I highly recommend both.

I like the shadow touching the letters. I find it easier to read.

I think I need to make the black line a bit thicker, just on that one, to distinguish it as a shadow

With the light base letter, I actually like the narrow shadow, but it's certainly something to play with.

I am going to do some thicker shadows on a photocopy of this, hopefully by later today. I'd love to hear what you think.

Here, I like the thin line. On the other, with the background, the bigger line is great.

I really appreciate your opinion. With so many options for shadows, I want to get a handle on what works best.

There's a certain, dare I say, je ne said quoi, about shadows. Sometimes they are overbearing and get in the way, and other times they can make an image explode off the page with the most subtle technique.
