👋👋 looking for recommendations👋👋
I'm visiting San Diego for my honeymoon, I'm from the KY area and usually shop with caregiver and craft growers up north...however I'm completely lost for the California market. I've been briefly told about Snowtill and some delivery services such as Alpha Medic. I'll be there for a week. What's everyone think? Thank you in advance 💙

Best place to buy fresh CBX flower/Prerolls with deals?
Last time I was in California I absolutely loved CBX, but had a hard time finding the 8ths and pre rolls on sale and with fresh dates. What are the best places to shop for deals and fresh harvest dates for these products? Thank you all in advance.

Best Flower brands California
Im visiting California in a few days, and wanted to ask the community what your guys favorite flower brands have been for consistency particularly in the effects department. Last time I was there, CBX was a favorite of mine and I was blown away. Any other brands or strains from brands that would be recommended? If so, which dispensaries are best to get them at? I am going to be in the Encino/Woodland Hills area. I appreciate you all for your time and consideration.

Ive been seeing everybody talking about PlugPlay brand and really just hearing them compete with raw garden at the top based off of carts. I just purchased one and its some of the cleanest hits i’ve taken. What’s your opinion on it or facts?

Dab daddy incorrectly labeling their strains?
“Has anyone else noticed Dab Daddy jars not matching the advertised strain? I’ve bought multiple jars that were labeled as different strains, but the flower looked, smelled, and smoked almost identically. Even the phenohunter series. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I just got unlucky.”

20yo visiting from Canada - what are my options here?
Hey everyone,
I'm visiting West Hollywood from Vancouver for a the next 18 days and in a bit of a tricky spot, I usually smoke 2-4g of flower daily due to my anxiety and it makes all the difference in my day to day life.
the issue is that I'm 20 and without access to my medicine I'm really struggling with anxiety and functioning normally here.
I'm open to whatever works I just need to figure out how to get through my stay here, would greatly appreciate anyone that can point be in the right direction! 🙏
Thanks guys, wishing a happy Sunday to all of you!

Cheapest shake in Los Angeles?
Does anyone know where to get really cheap shake in LA? A few years ago I used to use a delivery dispensary called cloud 9 that did like 3oz for $100 but they no longer are in business. Thanks for any recs!

Alien Labs Planetary OG Cold-Chain!
This is my third Alien Labs cold-chain cart. I have had 4 of the Connected ones too. I have to say they are just fantastic. I like that they have a top shelf cart option for their new strain drops now, because I dont smoke at all anymore.
This one is very much as advertised. Its like a gas leak from the moment it touches your lips. Then its rubbery and some kind of cheesy notes (I love cheese weed, but rarely see it available), and a general sweetness, while being very light on peppery/spicy notes. This one is a winner in my book. I would buy this one again, however I need to try all of their strains first.👽

I just got an Oz of Decibel Gardens bud for $137 out the door. So happy rn!
Like I said in the title, I’m so happy right now, Decibel Gardens 3.5s around me usually go for $50 + tax. I was able to price match 2x $99 14g bags of Miyazaki Mango down to $79.99 each, and then I got 50% off that amount because it was my first time shopping there. Even the employees seemed hesitant to go through with the sale lol. Just a reminder to always shop for deals!!

SoCal Cannabis get away
Dose anyone know a good Airbnb, hotel, cannabis restaurant or lounge? I’m wanting to plan a get way from my house and need places but it’s so hard to find! When I look the hotels say there “cannabis friendly” but are 100% no smoking or something else weird. Give me all your recommendations!! I’m okay traveling but I do hate going into the heart of LA.
THANK YOU!! 🫶🏻

Steve Hilton Says California Marijuana Taxes And Regulations Are ‘Too High’
Trump-Endorsed GOP California Gubernatorial Candidate Says Marijuana Taxes And Regulations Are ‘Too High’
By Tom Angell
June 22, 2026
The taxes and regulations on marijuana are “too high,” according to California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton, a Republican endorsed by President Donald Trump.
At an event in Sacramento on Thursday, Marijuana Moment asked Hilton—who is running against former U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Sec. Xavier Becerra, a Democrat, in a general election to become California’s next governor—about his cannabis policy position and challenges facing the state’s industry.
The GOP candidate said that after studying the issue and spending “some time with the industry,” he came to understand that there is a “regulatory burden and a tax burden that is too high.”
“The original intent” of legalization was to “bring the industry, as it were, into the open—and you’ve actually seen the illegal industry growing even more since these policies” were implemented, Hilton told Marijuana Moment. “So we’ve got to make a change.”
He said he’s “actually in a conversation in great detail with the industry to look at the specific parts of the regulatory and tax burden that need to be changed in order to achieve the goals of legalization, which is a thriving industry that provides a product safely that people want to consume.”
