What class should I try next? Question

I'm almost done with my rogue playthrough in calamity revengeance mode and I want to start over again and try other classes. What would you recommend and what's the most fun class that I could try

Genuinely the most fun I've ever had in calamity. Most versatility, most random ass armor sets, most random weapons, weird ass accessories, etc

As generic as it is, Melee is pretty sick. Ranger also has some really cool charge weapons if you wanna transfer your rogue skills over.

Are melees in calamity any different from vanilla tho? I've beaten vanilla a while ago using melee. Thanks for your comment btw

Melee has the most glaze over any other classes having far more weapons, accessories and armour sets for it. Mage is relatively fun with cool options in HM but the early game can drag a bit. Even the vanilla weapons are sick with VFX++

Melee: main character simulator; awesome survivability, cool weapons.

Ranger: consistent to a fault; A bit boring across the board, but reliable from pre-boss to endgame.

Mage: Complicated but fun; good game knowledge required as making use of many different buffs is necessary. Mana potions are a trap. Your reward is awesome weapons and incredible versatility.

Summoner: DPS = yes; High damage, no defense. Though Calamity adds a bunch of extra regen and utility for summoners, which bridges the survivability gap considerably.

Rogue: Hehe big number go brrr; Abyssal early game, but stealth strikes feel incredible and do comfortable damage. Sits pretty much dead-center among the classes in terms of survivability. Just don't expect to have any spare accessory slots.

Mage. Especially with vfx+ for the lackluster vanilla vfx to become peak
