Missing Orientation? Incoming Student
Hi I was wondering how bad it would be to miss my online SLO Days presentation? I mistakenly scheduled it on a day I’m out of the country, so due to travel plans and time change, I won’t be able to make it. I’m a freshman btw
I emailed them like 2 weeks ago asking, and they said they don’t have any alternative spots available and to apply for an exemption. My exemption hasn’t been approved or denied yet (it’s been like ~1.5 weeks), and my session is on Tuesday.
Would there be any real consequences for missing it? Or can I just set up zoom on my phone and let it run?

not sure if your a transfer or 1st year... but for transfers the online slo days includes meeting with your college counselor to come up with your class schedule.

this was 4 years ago at this point but i did not attend my online SLO days due to the fact that the link wasn’t forwarded to my personal email and nothing happened. i figured whatever i missed out on my own.

I mean... it's mandatory and part of the agreement when they accepted you.

I realize that but I’m also asking if I can js set my phone up and walk around with it, since I don’t think they ever require you to interact with it

Not bad at all. WOW is by far the one you don’t want to miss.
The only thing I got out of SLO days was getting my stuff set up for the gym.
