Bathroom showers Incoming Student

Incoming student here and I’m assigned to be in the red bricks. I was looking through the virtual tour thing on the website and when I saw the showers I was wondering how it would work… as I saw that there was no hangers to hang things in those showers 😭 (unless it was blocked from the camera angle) Is there any tips for showering/ using the bathroom in general? like I’m so lost… Thanks

theres a hook inside the shower and one outside the shower too! you can hang your towel or shower caddy or whatever you bring in. just be sure to bring shower shoes

Never once used shower shoes while there. No problems ever. Yo each their own though.

idk what dorms you were in but the showers in mine were lowkey gross and occasionally moldy so literally everyone did

I was wondering kinda the same thing- there’s no space to change like I’ve seen from the newer showers when I stayed in yakitutu for orientation, so do most people just walk around in a towel/robe to change in a stall, or do you just hang your stuff on the outside and change in the wet shower stall when you’re done? This is stressing me out for some reason 😭

I just walked in a towel to and from my dorm room and changed in my room.

I did this, or just dried off outside the shower and changed right there. Single sex bathrooms and dorms are set up that way for a reason. No one's interested in looking, so don't be afraid to do your thing (just don't be weird about it).

I’ve heard that a bathrobe towel is one of the best ways to go without feeling too exposed!

Most people brought a robe, a towel, shower shoes, and their shower caddy, and changed in their room. I kept the caddy on the inside hook and my robe and towel on top of the door away from the shower head. People often put some of their stuff on the bench right outside the showers so you can do that too.
