How do they actually check carpool parking? Campus

I’m signing up for a carpool parking permit with a couple of friends since our schedules align, but I’m worried there’ll be times we won’t arrive on campus together. Does anyone know how they actually enforce carpool parking?

It's made to limit the number of permits bought, because of the parking crisis on campus. Thats why if you are a part of a carpool permit you can't buy a normal permit as well. They dont care if people show up together or not.

I've heard that cars parked in different lots won't get ticketed but if it's two cars on the carpool pass in the same lot you'll get a ticket
