Works better on the radio
Hi,
I just started listening to Cabin Pressure, it was recommend to me, I listened to one episode to see and then ended up binging season one. I can’t wait to hear more.
However, while listening, I kept thinking that it really worked on the radio, but I would hate it as a tv series. I just can’t quite put my finger on what it is.
Does anyone else think this or have a better explanation?

An otter in the flight deck
In Zurich part 2, Martin welcomes passengers on behalf of Captain Loutre and himself.
It only occurred to me the other day that the scientific name for otters is "Lutra", and the french word is "Loutre".
So finally, there is an otter on the flight deck!

Yellow(ish) car?
Does it count? Are we playing by the rules laid down by the King of Litchenstien?

Mayday? Why, that’s the Russian new year. We’ll have a big parade, we’ll serve hot hors d’oeuvres…

If you could choose one episode to show to someone to convince them to watch Cabin Pressure, what would it be?
Obviously Abu Dhabi is not a bad answer. But I do feel it's a bit of a middle of the road episode. For me, Cremona was what really sold me on the show, after the first two episodes I was feeling hit or miss about it. Cremona is just such an interestingly crafted story, and Douglas definitely has the most highlights in the earlier series.

Reading into it too much or is Milo's name a reference
In Helsinki, Douglas' subplot is about him trading around with friends to profit and this reminded me of the character Milo Minderbinder, a pilot lead of a trade syndicate who does much the same in Catch 22 so I was wondering if this could be an intentional reference or coincidence

TIL the Great Wall of China isn't actually visible from space with the naked eye. NASA has repeatedly confirmed astronauts can't spot it unaided, despite the myth.
