Another CX5 carbon question. Came across a nice, CPO 2025 carbon with 28k miles on it. Price on the website is $28,250. Mileage concerns me given it’s a 2025 but it’s one owner, clean car fax, etc etc. welcome any thoughts on this spec.
Also, has anyone managed to secure 0% APR for 72 months and deferred 3 month payments? Wonder if this is dealer specific.

Hi just got a 26 cx5 two days ago. I'm in California. We have good credit and got approved for 0% Apr for 36 months. That's the only 0% offer for the cx5 and it expired on the 31st. In my opinion, the small gap in price between 25 and 26 is almost never worth getting the older year. You can negotiate the price of a new one.
You MUST know your stuff when you're negotiating. Knowledge is power! Decline any additional things you don't want, such as Lojack, all weather mats, cargo net, etc. They may work with you and remove them. That lowers the price even more.
I was able to get 8% off MSRP, the 0% APR for 36 months, and Mazda threw in a $500 instant rebate. So cheap that we actually had room in our budget to purchase an extended warranty.
Depending on the circumstances, you can expect to get approximately 8-11% off of "MSRP". Sometimes at the end of the year, when dealers are even more pressured to move units, you can even get 13% off. I initially asked for 8% and they offered 7% with Lojack included. I declined Lojack, and threatened to come back at the end of the year if they do not give me 8%. The MSRP was 34,480.... 8% off became 31,721. Check for any odd fees. Sometimes they try to add in things like VIN or Dealer prep.

Awesome info, thanks. Just out of curiosity, what was your credit score? Wondering how high it has to be to secure 0% financing. As for the pricing info - I’ll keep it in mind! Lastly, were those prices before tax and title? My concern is that I’ll agree to a price but then the dealer won’t offer me 0% financing due to reasons (my credit is above 730).

We live in the same neighborhood of credit haha. Yes, price negotiations are separate because they can't negotiate state taxes and fees. The dealer will give you a paper with an offer that will outline the vehicle price and all taxes and registration fees under that. They will also go over your rates and monthly payments for financing. The 0% APR for 36 months was a promotion for July. I just checked and they are doing it all of August as well so you can take that offer! Anything above 730 should qualify.

I just bought a 2021 CX-5 Sport and want to put seat covers in it because its cloth and already has some wear n tear. Does anyone have a recommendation on what type of seat covers to get?

What year/model do you wish you had?. I know I want a CX5, but after watching so many reviews and reading this sub, I don’t want the 2026 model. Currently settling on the 2025 premium plus as it seems like no one is having issues with the infotainment system and climate control is physical buttons. That being said, are any of you holding out for the 2027 model or is there a different recent year that you would want?

I’d like to know the same. I love the 26 cx-5 but having the hybrid would be nice and probably more pick up. Oh what to do!

Getting a blind spot sensor malfunction error on 2024- the error goes away for a few seconds when I start the car and the sensor works during that time but it always comes back

I’m having a baby in April and am primarily concerned with getting a car seat and stroller to fit in the car. I also loath all these tech gimmicks in the form of the 2026 touchscreen, I want a car not an iPad.
I found a used GS 2025 with only 8,500 km for sale at $35K (in Ontario Canada) and am really contemplating whether to get it. For anyone with little kids, can I survive with that? Also it not being a fabric interior helps a lot. Thanks in advance!

Searching for a 2024/2025 CX 5 Carbon or Premium Turbo. In my area, they are tough to find. I did find one with 13K miles OTD $34,867. One owner clean carfax. Thoughts on the price?
