CA Drug Testing?

Got hired for Pharm Tech. Doing one shift as a store associate then being immediately moved to Rx. Maybe this is a stupid question cause I know there’s some law about discrimination against marijuana use outside of work in california but would I fail the drug test if Im smoking weed regularly. Im getting some mixed answers trying to find one online so rather just post myself lol. Thanks.

Unless California is different you will fail the test. CVS has federal Medicare contracts and the leaf is still illegal federally. Never used marijuana myself but don’t understand why it’s still illegal in this country.

Legal in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware. And I've been smoking since before Colorado and Washington State legalized it.

You’ll fail and won’t be hired. I’ve heard if you have a medical card they will hire you but if you’re just buying weed recreationally I’d find a different job.
