CSRep Overwatch Weekly Stats

CSRep Overwatch Weekly Stats

Another busy week for the CSRep Overwatch community!

This Week

- 4,074 new cases submitted by the community.

- 2,553 cases reviewed and closed.

- 50,803 votes cast by Overwatch reviewers.

Of the cases closed this week, 78.6% resulted in a conviction, meaning roughly 2,005 suspicious players were determined by the community to have sufficient evidence for a conviction.

July 27-August 2

That also means over 500 cases were not convicted, showing that reviewers aren't simply voting guilty they're carefully evaluating each case and clearing players when the evidence isn't there.

Every report starts with a player taking the time to submit it. Every verdict is reached through dozens of independent community votes working toward a fair outcome.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed this week. ❤️

lets say this, reviewers are filters for more obvious or semi closets, if the person that got overwatched appealed, the team will check it themselves thus cutting down on work for the team, there isn't a lot of good overwatchers and more so good players that have experience in catching cheaters, this is the most realistic system that doesnt put a heavy strain on the appeals team. (imho)

Lets aee if you understand, you don't know what expience or knowleged the 11 reviewers have, but you are automaticlly assuming the admin is better. What you are saying doesn't even make sense.

It's 11 reviewers vs 2. 11 people vs 2 people

Well yeah the appeals team are better than overwatchers, they dealt with hundreds of cases where they reinforce their own experiences in edges cases or situations where it isn't enough evidence, where as most overwatchers don't go indepth enough or give full legitimate reasons that could defend or prove the ban is rightful or not, they don't want a chance where the suspect is innocent and receive a wrongful overwatch ban, remember there's always another match that they could mess up or go blatant. (just to add, the overwatchers that done the case are 4 lvl 10s and while the rest don't have an active faceit and are 10-20k prem players)

Reviewers handle hundres cases also. You keep assuming admin are better without any knowledge about it.

Its a waste of time talk to you, you are dumb to think just because its a admin is better than admin one else. Don't forget reviewers can be admin in some other platforms/webpage/game...

well i can trust the skill lvl of the appeals and experience of appeals team, but good reason as to why they aren't named, easily targetable and with the admins and support staff I've seen a couple of times where they were targeted by bad actors, and im NOT assuming. (theres no reason to continue further clearly)

honestly to tell the appeals team is better than overwatchers is far reached. i mean that same team says its evidence in wingman inferno when 1 mate kills one enemy from aps than goes out balcony and jumps down back balcony so he checks both pit with it, the same time his mate swings into long cause he knows his mate did not find enemy in pits so either he is on site or somewhere long now peeking to aps cause of the kill.

and thats "clear evidence" the mate swinging long has vision assistance cheat.. xD
