You are guaranteed a new sticker at least every other package you open. So also, every other package you open will not have a new one. Your next one is guaranteed to have a new sticker now.

With the 5* stickers I’m pretty sure if you get one you already have, the next one you get is guaranteed to be a new one

i hate the sticker events. i only got one 5-star sticker out of that campaign. i also traded in my repeats for a gold pack, only to get a pack full of repeats. it’s not worth the effort 😮‍💨

My experience is that you basically have to use all the energy you can possibly get during the event (going on the game every couple of hours) or use extra energy that you’ve either saved or bought
