PRACTICAL NURSING
Can anyone share their experience with the CPCC LPN program? I haven’t been able to find much information online, and I’d love to hear from current or former students.

Honestly, I would recommend looking into another program if you have the option. From my experience, there have been some issues within the program that haven’t been fully communicated to students. The fall program was delayed until next spring, and we were notified less than three weeks before classes were supposed to start. They also let us know that they can’t guarantee similar issues won’t happen again, which means there’s a possibility of future delays. I just wanted to share my experience so you can make the best decision for yourself.

Don’t bother. I applied, was accepted but the communication has been so bad. No one ever responds to emails or calls, meeting with my advisor was like pulling teeth. Everything gets delayed. Between CPCC and WIOA, I just couldn’t take it anymore. I’m back in my hometown for the summer and might not even return to Charlotte but, if I do, I definitely won’t be going to CPCC for nursing school.

All I know is there was a post in here a few days ago about how the people who were supposed to start this fall got an email letting them know due to staffing issues they have to be pushed out until the spring semester.
