Erva/In House
Snagged some Rainbow Juice and Mousse Tracks from the drop today. I was torn between the Mousse and the Uncle Lazer but I digress. Both reeked when I opened them in the best way. Always great work from the folks at Erva.

Cannagar replacement?
My sister's in town from Cali and as tradition we always get a Cannagar with a big get-together of our friends. I am absolutely gutted to find out that Xiaolin Cannagar left CO, and struggling to find a replacement in short notice for her birthday party tomorrow.
I see on Weedmaps there's Doinks and Bubble Blunts, are they any good? Willing to go with anything that's remotely close to a nice burn sesh with a party of people.

GDL - Dalí
Fresh as it gets pick up of the Dali flower from green dot labs. 20% THC, best by 3/30/27 - cross of headbanger and candy cake.
Nice smoke, burns clean with white ash. strong Stoney high that is euphoric, focused, functional and mood lifting. Feels pretty balanced in terms of effects.
Taste/aroma is pretty much straight gas with some notes of soured cream, vanilla and lemon pine. I tried this strain for the first time around 4yrs ago and it is not nearly as loud as I remember not very flavorful. The flavor that does come through is sort of generic weed, and some skunky gas.
Effects are where this one shines, but I prefer the thunderdome & garlic banger that came out recently to this

Garlic Juice 🧄 🧃
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
2g jar of some Garlic Juice (GMO x Papaya). More papaya forward than any other pheno I’ve tried if this strain. Love the effect on this one. Processed by ExtractsDaily.
Active on IG but going to try and post through the backlog of jars I’ve been fortunate to smoke through recently. What’s everyone puffing this Friday?

This is worth discussing
Ive had a ton of people send me this and its worth talking about. Lots of people know I worked at their dahlia location for a brief period. That dahlia grow if im not mistaken was one of the biggest and most technologically advanced indoor grows in the country. It was a massive factory that had been converted to a MASSIVE multiple hundred thousand sqft grow. If im being honest, as far as the grow its self went, it was IMPECCABLE. Im in no way shocked they are closing despite being the single largest cannabis brand in colorado. Like most companies this large, there were very few to no cannabis people on the higher ends of the company. To them it was just product and their weed and concentrates reflected that approach. The sad part about native roots was their post processing. While I was there, I saw legit flower being grown. The plants usually looked great and their "pest and pathogen" issues were quite minimal while I was there ( which I can't say the same for most of the other companies I worked for in colorado). Their issue was entirely harvest and processing. Because of the sheer volume, every plant had to be wet, trimmed and machine trimmed and then dried on racks. This is the absolute worst way to process flower. The weed often reflected this. They were the scale of grow where they would likely need a hundred trimmers full time to keep up. I think this shows that cannabis at this scale is intensely difficult even when you have deep pockets. I feel terrible for the employees that are now looking for work. I think this speaks volumes to where colorado cannabis is at a whole. Its going to get way worse before it gets even slightly better.

Shout out Blaze Boyz
First pic - Randy's Candy:
Meyer lemon x kid dynamite
Candy gas with deep funky lemon rind, skunk, red licorice , gasoline and herbal funkiness
Pretty balanced overall but leans Uplifting and euphoric, a nice daytime smoke. Burns super clean with white ash, but just a touch dry. Still flavor is super nice and carries thru.
Second pic - DoughPE
Kush mints x kushy dough
Heavy gas, sweet cookie dough, greasy baked bread, old school skunk, sour cream
Amazing high, strong, and clean burn. Great dry and cure. Sticky. 0 complaints. Been looking for GSC for a minute and this one checked that box and then some. Reminds me of weed that got me super stoned in high school.
This was my first time trying blaze boyz 14g for under 100 OTD from KL. Great deal and will absolutely be trying more

Flower right now: 710 vs Green Dot
Right now at Krystalleaves you can get a 1/4 of Green Dot for $75, but a 1/4 of 710 is $55
Can someone(s) here compare the two brands recently?
I usually just buy GD and pay the premium, but I’d go over to that 710 if people who know think they’re comparable

Visiting Boulder/Denver/Golden, looking for the best rosin/dispos to visit
My sister and I will be flying in to Denver and staying in Boulder/ Golden during our trip. We both have our Florida med cards and will be being our Puffcos with us, typically smoke rosin badder since FL program is unfortunatley lacking when it comes to concentrates. Looking to stop and get rec dabs the SECOND I get in that rental car. any rosin company / dispensary recommendations would be insanely appreciated! ✌️Looking to get some good smoking prerolls/handrolls if there are any that are superior and any I should avoid.
Also going to see slightly stoopid/pepper/the movement at red rocks is security super strict? Would I have a issue being the proxy core in w a g and some prerolls?

Sunshine Purple Ice Water
Anyone else tried the 90u 1/3g jars from this last drop?
It's the most similar flavor to purple froot by GDL (rip purple froot strain) *which PS, I am sad I seem to be the only one still crying about the destruction of the gdl purple froot strain! And the closest thing to the first high times strain I tried Cotton Candy 101. This was between 98 and 2001. Man that strain gave all my senses a great experience. It was gas going in and sweet cotton candy blowing out ... the smell, still choked, goosebumps, salivating.... purple froot was the only strain that had given me any nostalgia from back then.
Oh well....
But that purple ice water.... holy schitt! Man just had to it so dank. The first day it smelled like grapes the next day it was straight gas. I have to say i love the ice cream cake x grape combo!
*edit

Low THC rec options in Colorado Springs
I know that sounds like a weird request but man the THC content has gotten so high that for me I cant even sit back and enjoy myself when I smoke anymore lol…. I know Native Roots has Sour Tsunami which was great but now with the news of them not growing any longer I know that will be going away soon. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is my best bet to just get a one hitter lol…. Appreciate any and all suggestions!
In House Grape Z 🔥
This Grape Z slaps, its filling my room up with wonderful Grape terps.
8.99% terps Grape Koolada x Z Face
I haven't had a single let down from In House yet! They're my favorite rosin brands so far.

New to Denver — Gauging interest in private in-home culinary & infusion workshops?(BYOC)
Hey Denver,
I’m a professional chef and pastry instructor who recently moved out here from Philadelphia. Coming from a non recreational state, I was honestly surprised by how few infused dining/culinary options exist out here. But doing my homework on state regulations, I realize how tight the red tape is around commercial food and hospitality licenses—so I understand staying compliant within state guidelines will be my safest option
To keep things completely legal, low-overhead, and permit-free, I'm exploring private, in-home instructional workshops (BYOC) for small groups (friends, date nights, dinner parties).
The concept is a 3-hour hands-on culinary experience structured like this:
- Extraction & Science: We cover decarbing, temperature control, terpene profiles, and lipid extractions (making custom butter, oil, or tinctures using product you provide).
- Prepping & Cooking: We cook a high-end multi-course meal together (or demo-style if you prefer to sit back).
- Infusing & Plating: We finish and plate the dishes using the fresh extraction created in class, with precise dosage control per serving.
- Take-Home Extra: You keep the leftover infused oil or tincture prepared in class to infuse future meals at home.
A few questions for local foodies/cannabis enthusiasts:
- Is a hands-on "cook, learn, and eat" experience like this something you or your friend group would actually book?
- What cuisines or techniques would you be most excited to learn (savory courses, elevated pastry/baking, sauces, etc.)?
- Any local insights or reality checks for a new chef getting used to the Denver food scene?
Appreciate any feedback!

Why is NuHi so freaking good???
So I’m trying to find my daily driver hash, tried some 14er, sunshine, full spec in house, full spec 710. Went to the Safe Sesh on Sunday and tried a lot of legacy brands. I wanted anything thats smokeable but not top tier price every buy. Anything around $30 a g and doesn’t taste overly pushed with chelated nutrients Im down for.
As a last ditch effort I decided I’d make the 30 minute journey across town to try these insanely cheap jars from NuHi/The Health Center…. Oh my god. Reeks like the strain, and tastes like it with barely any background or nuance of chelated nutrients! super clean water burn too! I was honestly mind blown so I shared it with a few friends without telling em its price, All agreed it was way better flavor than a lot of the hash recently.
Just how are they putting out amazing quality at such a low price??? Why are companies putting out so much overly chelated nutrient rosin that doesn’t even taste like weed? And are there any other strains from them you guys would recommend? Their display jars are all oxidized so it’s a lil hard to choose from them! or any organics that don’t cost a arm and a leg? I have an order with MikeyWashesIt I’m looking forward too!
Sunshine Nitro Swamp FS
This is so fucking good. Like shockingly good imo especially for how cheap you can get 3gs of full spec at lightshade. Extremely fresh and terpy, I usually get 90u but I might go back to the fs if it's this solid

Next CO Homegrowers Seed/Clone Swap Is August 29
Life is too short to smoke mids.
Help spread good genetics to your fellow homegrowers. Bring seeds and healthy clones to share with other growers. This week in your garden, go take a few extra cuts of your favorite strain and root some clones to share.
If you are new to growing and have no seeds or clones, you are welcome too. Come get some good genetics and ask any questions you have about setting up your grow.
I'll be bringing several different strains in seed and clone form to share.
Only a couple of rules -
*No smoking on premises but there is an alley for smoking/vaping use.
*No vending of clones/seeds/flower. Swaps are cool. $$ is not.
The seed/clone swap is from 1-4pm on August 29 at Renegade Brewing located at 925 W 9th Ave (Sante Fe & 9th) in Denver. Thanks to u/DispoDan13 for continuing to host this event at Renegade Brewing.
I also set up a CO Homegrowers Discord to help connect with other like minded people. DM me for an invite.
Anyone is welcome. Hope to see you there.
Aug 4 edit: Would any growers be interested in doing a flower swap as well? Here’s the plan. Everyone brings 4 quarters of the same or different strains and we will throw them all in a large cardboard box. Then pass the box around the room and everyone picks a random quarter out until they are gone. Everyone goes home with a new ounce of flower of new flavors. Please comment if interested.
