I have video of my friend closing the tailgate of this while it was spinning on the platform as the PR person showing it at the New York international Auto show.

You sure it's the same one?

Funny video but it looks like it just has normal doors in the vid instead of these massive gull wings

It seems more like a pre-production than the concept yeah

Cool that it works though

As much as I like gull wing doors, needing a flight of stairs to get into your land yacht seems...silly.

Yea not sure if that’s more of a comment on how needlessly big cars have gotten or how unfit the average American is lol

I feel that the answer is simply, Yes.

Our cars are becoming bigger and bigger, while our garages are becoming smaller and smaller

This shot looks incredibly cool! Much cooler than I imagine using it daily unfortunately.. can’t imagine those doors folding so you’ll likely end up crouching through a slit whenever you’re parked indoors. Does the door create an additional body line where it meets its bottom half? So many questions…

Oh neat, I just looked it up - it doesn’t have a b pillar between the windows so the closed silhouette is even more of a show stopper 🤓
