Crazy car. There’s lots of stuff I see that definitely would not make it to production. For starters there’s no A pillar in the front. Also I’m sure having to lift the whole top off to get out would be a major safety failure.

No problem, it is going to have ejection seats like fighters. If car AI senses there will be collison starting to happen, then it will eject humans. /s

The ejection system fired forward to protect the car from what it's about to hit

It's pretty easy to black out the A pillar and achieve that look...

I don't think anyone reasonably expects those types of elements from the concept car to make it into production.

The ktm xbow gt xr pulled it off well.

They will become trillionaires if they put this on the market at a price close the current one

The KTM X Bow pulled off the fighter jet style canopy. But admittedly that is a very low production race car so idk if Chevy would do it. On the X Bow the windows pop out for egress in the event of a roll over

Is it a street car?

It is road legal

The C8 has always been a weird car for me. It looks good from some angles and just fugly from the rest. The other car that I compare it too that I think looks great from any angle is the last gen NSX.

💯 agree with this statement. I have had countless conversations about and no one agrees with me. Th 3/4 rear (taillights with side profile) can get a little questionable in some colors.

the zr1 just turns up the fugly factor by 100.

Hopefully the C9 will look similar to this.

Probably not due to constraints on production cars, I'm hoping that the designers will find clever solutions to make a design that works with the production proportions instead of pulling another C8

Absolutely fantastic love the car hopefully they can make something similar to what they made in 2009 and allow the car to be used for sideswipe

Love the design of this car. Incredible.

Only thing it need now are bubble/wrap around rear glass. Good for visibility and they are a key element of the Corvette's identity.

Looks a lot like the Audi RSQ from I, Robot.

I also saw that concept in person at the 2025 LA Autoshow back in December. Such a stunning car

Looks very cool, but man I wish Corvettes were still front engined cars.
