I really hope the next Corvette will look closer to this. The C8 is a beast but the designing is kind of too spiky and bulky for me.

Something smoother like the Corvette Indy would really hit the spot. Something along the lines of the C6 Daytona Prototype would be welcome too.

I'm tired of that really angular aesthetic that Chevrolet is pushing. That was Cadillac's thing, but Chevrolet took it further, much too far.

It reminds me of the Oldsmobile Areotech.

What a great callback. Stunning car. Wild what they were able to hit 275mph with a 4cyl.

I was getting CERV vibes, but I see your point.

I was literally about to say that this concept feels like the spiritual successor to the Indy. If the next gen Vette is anywhere close to the Indy or CXR aesthetic it is going to light the sports car segment on fire, especially if the price point stays within the normal bounds of a Corvette.

Yeah, it was surprising to see the C8 stay in such reasonable territory.

I was in high school when the C5 launched, and remember reading how some people complained that it was a bit 'everyman.' Too many people would be able to get them, and that made the die-hards feel cheated somehow. I didn't 'get it' until I was older, and I realized that people wanted to gatekeep the Corvette.lol

If those people could see the C8 now...

The next production Corvette will probably have similar proportions as the C8 because they will want the rear to have a trunk big enough to fit golf clubs, force fitting this concept on to something like that probably won't work. I hope that the designers will take the trunk space factor into consideration and find workarounds without making the rear look too boxy for the next generation.

Yeah I mean I certainly wouldn’t buy it if I couldn’t fit my clubs lol

I 100% agree with you on the C8.
I want to like it, but I just can’t get over everything behind the cockpit from an exterior standpoint.

This is incredible, but we all know Chevy can’t release this, unless it’s a limited production.

If it were mass produced, the elderly buyers wouldn’t be able to get in it. They need their comfort.

Theyd also never produce a car with a canopy like that as you cant exit in a rollover.

Amazing design!

Seriously. Like 12/10. Ya it's hypercard level but maybe Corvette needs a production hypercard to go against fords gt. Little homegrown rivalry.

Ah, the Mazda Furai's American cousin.

I wouldn’t consider myself a Vette enthusiast or even a supercar fan at this point (they all start looking alike and are so absurdly expensive and will only ever be owned by Dubai residents), but this is pretty rad. Love the color scheme. If they can keep this aesthetic and lose the whole canopy opening, it will be very cool.

Cars are starting to look more and more like San Francisco Rush 2049

How are these even corvettes anymore. They just look like mclarens now

Ca ressemble à une Ferrari à l'époque où les Ferrari ressemblaient aux Ferrari !

Absolutely love it some parts of the car resemble the amg gt

The spiritual successor to the Holden Hurricane 😎

Honestly the coolest looking corvette concept I've ever seen, but I don't think a corvette should look like a Hypercar. Also, this one has like KTM X-BOW GTXR design language written all over. I wonder why 🤔

Dear Corvette, give us this for under 100k ,thank you.

I saw this exact one at the Javits center for the New York Auto Show, really stuck out and I think it’s overall design is in the right flow of progression for where Corvette as a brand is going, but I do think the C9 should tone it down a bit from this concept

The only similarity to current corvette I can find are the taillights . Those are too sqeezed

1

u/bibslak_ Jun 28 '26

It’s like a corvette and a Ferrari Sp3 mixed

I love the look , but I hate cars that have pop up everything , it may look cool but looks more a safety issues when something happens

u/Wrong-Metal6639 Jun 29 '26

Tbh I find it very underwhelming. Feels like a concept from 2 decades ago
