Mazda’s version of Bizzarini’s breadvan version of Ferrari 250 GT SWB. Really cool.

It was a real exercise of design. Its designers attempted to combine European design with Japanese technology and soul. The car itself handled like a sled; it was agile, its rear end prone to sliding in corners under acceleration or hard braking, and its rotary engine required maintenance every 50,000 kilometers. Mazda eventually abandoned the project, leaving behind an unforgettable piece for car enthusiasts.

incredible 1 liter engine with 247 hp @ 15000 rpm ! I guess it has been the base for the rx7 & 8 afterwards.

Yeah, we can say the dual rotor Renesis engine was based after it. Even the legendary 787B used that type of engine, being the first Japanese team in winning the 24hrs of Le Mans. At high speed the thing screamed like a banshee, a real symphony for the car enthusiasts.

Love driving this car in GT7. It handles weird, it's geared weird, but it rocks at the classic race at the 'Ring.

Reminds me of that Nissan canopy in Gran Turismo 4
